@@MeatholSupreme Yes, he dies in season 6. Spoilers if you dont want to know the exact details: Fives discovers the plans for order 66 and tries to warn everyone. No one believes him after Palpatine frames him for attempted murder. Fives captures Anakin and Rex hoping they reason with him. Some other clone troopers interrupt him and tell him to release rex and anakin but Fives refuses. The other clones tell fives to stand down but he grabs a gun and the clones reluctantly shoot him. He dies in Rex's arms, saying he is finally at peace.

Kanan’s death is definitely the saddest in all of Star Wars but that’s not the actual music from the show. I personally think one of the things that makes his death so sad is the music and the way the choir perfectly lines up with Hera screaming. We also get a whole build up with him cutting his hair and getting rid of his mask, and then going on to save Hera where she finally tells him she loves him. And the fact that the last episode Hera and Kanan saw each other before he was blinded, he said “We’ll see each other again,” and then his sight is restored moments before his death, makes it even more heartbreaking. Up to this point, no one in Rebels from our main crew has even come close to death. Every episode ends with them getting away for the hundredth time, and it looks like that’s what’s going to happen once Ezra and Sabine show up. Then they actually kill him off. And we get an entire episode to see how each of our main crew deals with his death. Ezra goes back to feeling alone and confused like he was before he met Kanan. Hera, who is the most composed character in the show, completely breaks down, and Sabine and Zeb lash out in anger. Even Chopper is heartbroken. And then Ezra gets a chance to save Kanan in the World Between Worlds, but Ahsoka, who knows better than anyone that she couldn’t save her master, has to remind him that he needs to let go and he has to live through his death again. Rebels doesn’t get enough credit for how good of a story it is
