I knew a few answers from school, a few from music my parents play, a few from genuine interest i had myself, considering in most of my favourite music the artist(s) are black. I think you are right that a lot of it depends on age, but there are definitely a boatload of factors to consider.

I'll explain the question about having kids. If two mixed people have a child, they would be equally as mixed. A good way to visualize this is to use simple math. Take the race of both parents Nick's mom is white his dad is black so he would be B/W Cinna is the same so she would also be B/W However, Dean has two black parents so he would be B/B If Nick and Cinna had a kid it would be B/W + B/W = BB/WW so the ratio of black/white would be the same. If Dean and Cinna had a kid it would be B/B + B/W = BBB/W so the ratio is 75% black 25% white.

This is completely false. You have never taken a class on genetics. All you are doing is running on random guess work. For one, Nick isn't 50% black, he's 48%. Cinna isn't Half white, she's a quarter white, a quarter Japanese. And even that's entirely false. Nick has never done a DNA test, his sister did. The average African American can have between 10 to 30% European dna depending on where they are from. There isn't a single 100% black American. Thats why Erobb is half black but actually 37% only. Or Myth, he's 40% black not 50 despite having a black father. Genetics are random. They do have tendencies but they are never exact like the math you just did. Otherwise, people like Logic wouldn't happen. He'll never do a DNA test but 99% chance he's like 70% white despite having a black father.

fyi ethnic makeup and genes are not the same thing. Cinna is correct you cant roll the dice on ethnic makeup and not be part Japanese if one of your parents were part Japanese. However you can roll the dice on genetic traits being represented, such as your fathers nose or your mothers eyes.
