We decided to discuss which Toronto Blue Jays we think deserve to represent the American League in this years all star game. With how the Toronto Blue Jays have been playing, there are not a ton of players that should even be put in the same sentence as “all star”, but we should give the players that are performing their recognition for this moment. It’s no secret that the Toronto Blue Jays bullpen has been terrible this season. With the amount of injuries and some unexpected struggles, this bullpen can be compared to the Blue Jays bullpen from 2021. We break down which relievers we trust to put up 0’s for the Toronto Blue Jays, as well as what other options the Jays have to try to help bolster this underachieving bullpen. After a great May (.357), Vlad hasn't had an RBI since June 6th (12 games) and has 2 HR and 5 RBI for the month (.250, 17 for 68). He needs to up his game. Davis Schneider has also had a weak June (.175 BA, .226 OBP, .316 SLG). Danny Jansen is hitting .136 in June, and his last home run was May 20 (his 5 RBI game against the Chisox). IKF has been the most steady hitter since the beginning of the season (.250, .275, .279 BA). I'd like to see him batting second in the order. Springer? Forget it. He hasn't had a month where he hit over .214.

Berrios deserves to be an All Star. Probably Garcia too. Vladdy should be the number 3 first baseman behind Mountcastle and Naylor.

I agree. Only Berrios and Garcia. Varsho has an outside shot, with his defence playing a big part in whether he is selected or not.

@@SteveMenardDesignDXM Defense doesn’t get most players on the team. His batting average (Varsho) is too low and he doesn’t have enough homers.
