Today we hit Copart Salvage Auction to buy a wrecked Porsche 911 Turbo (Or two...) From a 'repaired' 991 Turbo S to a heavily damaged 997 Turbo with some ultra rare parts, to a bone stock 996 Turbo, Copart in Rancho Cucamonga, CA isn't short on 911 Turbos to buy!

Carbon buckets were optional. A blue 997.2 at the Werks Reunion had them in it.

IDK about that 2018 911 Turbo S, am I assuming right that this will have a salvage title? $135k plus what it cost to fix it just seem like it would put you close to used prices on a clear title version. I would be in at $100k but you probably cant bargain with them.

The seats were not a standard option, but they were an option. They will not appear on the window sticker, but will be available through CXX options. Local car has them as well -- it's a bit of a WTF moment when you first see them. Center locks were optional on the 997.2 Turbo S as well. Mine has the 5-lugs. Most have the center locks.

I love Porsches and yes, they're awesome cars. However, I agree with your sarcastic smile. Porsche owners rarely complain about a car they paid between $200,000 and $300,000 to own. The white Porsche was taken to a hack shop. At the very least it needs a brand-new rear quarter,front fender,etc.I have a feeling they didn't make the proper repairs in the front and rear.So that will have to be inspected closely.There is some welding and bonding ,etc in replacing the rear quarter.So is the 130,000 worth it? Not really

If they had used fiberglass to repair that Porsche Convertible instead of Bondo the results would have been perfect instead of the botched repair seen here.

Thats an amazing Copart yard your visiting. Im in the UK & Copart have introduced a new law & prevents you from viewing any vehicle at all. COPART UK do not want you to see there cars in trhe flesh, they want to rip you off instead. Even though it is against distance selling laws, COPART UK sticks two fingers up at statutory UK law. They do however instead offer you a video tour of a vehicle, & charge you £10 for it. Which is no use at all. In my opinion they shoot themselves in the foot, as im like you & i would travel to inspect the right vehicle.

They are VERY ticky engines at the best of times, just not been driven in while so it will have dry lifters. A quick italian tune up and that noise will go away.
