Which Tour Pack Size Should I get?

I got the chopped & I believe I made the best choice for me, didnt want a big ass touring pack, with my 2 extended bags & my tour pack I can pack what I need to do what I want.

I have a chopped tour pack with a rack on it, with the king seat. And works perfectly. We have a pretty decent size gym bag that will fit 3 days a piece of clothes with us. Our helms slide in the saddle bags, and have a extra pack that ties down to the rack. This is a great comparison video

Melinda Cash haha yea I usually take my backpack daily to work. And on the weekend fits my half helmet fine. Really didn’t use the King this year. Things kinda didn’t work out as planned this year.

New Subcriber, that's great information. Where or did you have to relocate the antenna on your bike? I just bought a 2018 RG this past Saturday. I'm wanting to add a tour pack but what about the antenna on the backside of the bag?

Yes sorry, plus with extended fender I put on it has no hole. I put the Harley brand one that goes behind main fairing.

the correct answer to your question is "chopped tour pack" for your day tripping travel needs i have one... it fits 2 half helmets. the king is what you want if you travel overnight trips

How’s the quality of the king tour pak? I’ve read reviews and some say it flexes at the bottom a bit when opening and closing.

rob2044321 as far as I can tell the quality is great. I honestly can’t see much of a difference other then about 30% cheaper. I haven’t seen any flexing. I know they have great customer service and are constantly making improvements from the feedback they get. So maybe that was an old problem?

Haha Probably true. I guess I’m a poser Monday-Thursday because it’s perfect size for work and back. But for a trip I’m taking my King. To me I only want to take what I need. Not going to bring a big ol’ suit case just for a one day (or less) trip.
