Guys I need your help. I still have the Sony A9F master series OLED TV (2018 model) and I was wondering should I get the G1 or stick with that TV? The only reason I’m asking this is because currently the 65 inch of the A9F is at $3,799 compared to the G1 which is $1k less. Is that Sony TV super special to still be at that price? Should I switch to the G1? Btw I use it mainly for gaming. Thanks

Got a 65 inch LG C1 last weekend on sale at Best Buy. Certified open box, never taken out of the packaging, for 1520 before tax. Really wanted an A80J, but couldn’t say no to the price on the LG. I’ll likely get a Sony next time I upgrade, but for now I’m happy with my C1. It’s my first OLED, and I couldn’t even tell you how many hours I spent researching them trying to find the right one. Hundreds of hours, for sure. I was worried, borderline obsessive, about finding the right tv for my needs and my budget, and definitely worried I’d shell out a ton of money and end up unhappy with my purchase. This channel was by far the most informative and helpful I found for someone new to the world of high end TV’s, which was very overwhelming for me at first. You definitely helped me learn a lot, and helped make the best decision I could. One that I’m happy with btw, I love my new tv. So, long story short, I appreciate you and the videos you make. Thank you!

Anyone who sees this in time and has a a90J within the return period and purchased at regular price, well both the 55" and 65" are on sale and can get the discount credit today and during the sale. I got my TV yesterday for regular price and noticed it went on sale today. I texted my Magnolia guy and he credited my card the difference without even having to make another trip back out to the store and even sent a picture of the invoice.

Please do a review of the Samsung QN900A. Its been out for a month and haven't seen any reviewers discussing this set. I was planning on getting a big TV and its coming down to the Sony A90j or the Samsung QN900A. I've owned and LG OLED before and had serious burn in issues and reluctant to pull the trigger on another OLED due to those issues but I think I had an earlier version of the LG OLED. Please inform me on the the new tech on the OLEDS that reduce the issue of burn in and should I go with the Sony master series set. Thanks !

Just wanted to say this channel has been so helpful. Thank you very much. Just got a 77inch LG CX from Selfridges today (they had it at 10% off for the weekend). A bargain IMO. I was debating between a 77” CX or a 75” QE950TS 8K Samsung. This channel helped me decide. Would you please be able to test if Apple 4K TVs’ new calibration mode improves picture quality or is it just a gimmick? Best wishes

I was almost going to pull the trigger on the Q90A with being a gamer but had a few people tell me to hold out for a couple more weeks for the LG Qneds to compare them. The potential is there for the Qneds to be better. We'll see....

Hey brutha. Love your videos. Weird meta question on your channel name/what we call you. You say “I’m B the Installer” at the start of most videos but then on SOME videos you say “you too can BE the installer.” So do we call you “B” or is it just the channel name?
@BTheInstaller3 жыл бұрын
Exactly. My name is Brandon, people call me b or bw... the channel name is just a play on words.

Loved your video, very informative and great choices. It really helps a ton, but what about us looking for a 48 inch model for either gaming or small bedrooms? Right now, we have 3 options based on Best Buy listing, the CX for $1449, the C1 for $1499, and the Sony A9S for $1799, and Samsung will soon release the 50 inch QN90A for $1600. Which one would you recommend? And you think Sony might do an A80J or A90J 48 inch TV’s in the future? Thanks in advance for your help!

Great review now the question is should i buy a 77” LG CX or and 85” Sony x9000h - the latter is 2k cheaper where I am I will also getting a 100” projector at some point in my living room It’s mixed use, mostly movies and maybe 25% gaming at best in the near future

I have the 65cx in the living room, with a ps5, and love it. Currently I am planning on making the back bedroom into my complete gaming room, so looking to buy an oled again. Was going to get another cx, as the c1 has complete gaming features, but not enough for the price. However, the lg c1 is currently on sale till October 10. With the $700 price reduction, the c1 is cheaper than cx in 65". So that's a drop mic moment, and heading to Best Buy to purchase 65" C1. No brainer

You can also get the cooler 77" GX right now for $3500 and that includes wall mount, so if you're looking at getting a 77" CX and wall mounting it, just get the 77" GX as it's insanely thin on the wall and has far field voice control. Actually, now that I think of it, the 77" GX is the best size/quality/price right now. IMO.

Is the Sony A80J using an improved panel such as evo from lg? It would be a game changer for the sony and make it more difficult to choose between the C1. Thanks for the video!!

Yes the a80j is using new panel. C1 not.

Hi B the Installer Got a question regard the LG TVs, Im looking at the C1 or an CX 65 and looking at some of your past videos it sounds like the C1 has the potential to drop in price more than the CX of last year. My question is do you think they’ll be a sell around the 4th of July time on the C1 65 like a price drop of what the current LG CXs are currently going for about $2000?

Hi, thank you for the very informative video. I currently own a plasma and I am looking for the right TV. For me I think the 77inch LG G1 is the right fit, however that made me also think if I should consider the C1 in 77inch.
@BTheInstaller3 жыл бұрын
...... ok... sounds like you want the one and it would suit you better.... why wouldn't you then?
@feejus3 жыл бұрын
@@BTheInstaller There are two reason, the first one is cost, the C1 77 inch is as good as G1. The second is, I might be able to go for 83 C1. Because as you said they are nearly as good as each other and TV tech is ever changing, why would I spend that extra bit. Again, thank you for the public service you doing here. This is by far the best review out there. I would be keen to see a comparison between C1 & G1 and the Sony one. One question which I have not been able to get answered. Do you know if either Sony or the LG does support Plex or has plex app on their store?

I had bought a samsung q90t but it couldn't handle the motion of watching football there was a white trail on the ball and it would slow down and speed back up watching sports and also playing xbox fifa it had those same issues. I had the tv calibrated so I wasn't happy at all as I had a bright room so I took it back to best buy. I ended up replacing it with the LG CX which I'm absolutely delighted with, its a bit dark watching through the day on certain movies but over all I love it for watching football (soccer) and also xbox its so smooth for watching films. I also had the LG calibrated by geek squad.

The price point on the A9G is $1000 less.. the G1 will be 10-20% brighter... the CX is also a good price while being brighter than Sony
