I def thought you had it in the bag, also new idea for scarlet/violet vid, choose Pokémon by type, but any type the Pokémon has counts whether It's their Regular typing or the Tera typing, also I'd like to see you guys try using items sometimes to spice it up and maybe get some use out of the other abilities you guys get stuck with.

Started with electric-water, then electric-dragon for the resist, and then electric-flying just in case GG got a ground attack somewhere. (Semi-surprised he didn't bring that. Although to be fair Camerupt is not in Sword and Shield.) That was a good start to the catching. The Arctozolt that just couldn't get hit with fire moves was nice too.

Core Enforcer suppresses the opponent's ability so quick could have just used Searing Shot or Fusion Flare instead of hoping for a high roll or crit. Of course he still had an arcanine with aqua tail so he'd have been fine anyway.

It only surprises the ability if your opponent moves first and since the Blaziken was going first it didn’t surpress it. Yea it’s a dumb caveat to that move.

challenge: Catch a team of 9 random pokemon. When finished, flip a coin to determine the evolution state of each of the 9 pokemon. Heads= 1 evolution up. Example. A charmander who gets a coin flip heads will go up 1 stage to become a charmeleon. Tails = 1 de/evolutionary stage down. example a charmader who gets a coin flip tails, cannot go any lower but will be brought in full circle to a fully evolution state ie a charizard. another example is a heads on a charizard will bring it in full circle back to a charmander, and a tails on a charizard will be a charmeleon after going down by 1 stage. after doing this to the 9 randomly caught pokemon you can chose the 6 you like for battle. skip all non evolutionary pokemon in your random encounters for this challange
