@EnvyTraxus7 жыл бұрын
It sees like an obvious topic, but whether you style it to the left or right can drastically change your hairstyle. I go left to right (my natural flow) when it's short, and also because it's too difficult to make short hair go against the natural direction lol. When it's longer at like 4 inches I go right to left as my hair looks super full and for volume.

Robin James Can you do a vid on short hairstyles? I've noticed recently the trend is moving away from partings (at least for casual, everyday looks), more to a straight/flat top with a fringe, not unlike styles from the 90's.

My problem is, some of the hair at the front of my head seems to naturally grow in the opposite direction. my hair is parted from left to right but it seems like the front hairs want to go from right to left . I've also noticed that this make my hair a little more "see through" at the hairline when standing under a bright light. What should I do in this case? Go with the swirl at the crown and fight the front, or fight the crown and comb in the direction the hair goes at the front?

I'm a woman, and your video really helped me. I've wanted to change my right side parting to the left side of my head because it would expose my face's left side, which is more symmetrical. I was reluctant to change it because it seems women wear right-side partings while men have left-side partings. So, your video helped me see it doesn't matter how you part your hair, which is the confidence I needed.
@intheworldofdarkness10 ай бұрын
It really matters how you part your hair! That theory of female and male hair part is totally wrong. If the left side of your face looks better, it means you should make a hair part on the left side. Also, left side of body is controlled by the right side of brain, which have all female traits, so if you like more your left side of body, it means you're feminine. Everything you do on your left side of body is controlled by the right side of brain, so does a hair part
@candellina610 ай бұрын
@@intheworldofdarkness that's right! I heard about these things being scientifically proven. Yes, I have a feminine personality and also want to look more feminine.
@intheworldofdarkness10 ай бұрын
@@candellina6 Nice! I just have to say that because I did a lot of research and figured it out. My dominant side of brain is right, so my hair is parting on the left side. Also I have a dominant left eye and ear, so my hair won't fall over them. It all makes sense
