I don't understand the thought that a bigger blade is somehow better for big game processing. I've killed big northern deer, bear and moose and never thought a bigger blade would be better. When it comes to choosing a blade you need to use one that is the most comfortable for you to manage.

As a chef, my knife collection can run 100 a knife, I love Japanese made. As a trapper and a lady....smaller knives are nice to have. It's nice to have a pointed tip to start skinning...but the more rounded edge is better when you get into the think of skining. I would love to see double ended knives with a handle pop off to expose a tight tip... Like my guns I like one with dual purpose. You carry enough in the bush.

Yeap. Buy once cry Once ‼️ I had what I thought to be a good sheath on my side. Running deer with hounds on the game lands. Wardens came in and gave us a green light on take out as many as possible. Right now, just today. Well, we ended the day with 50 white tail between 12 or 13 of us hunter's and 2 of us could skin, cut up, process a deer. Blade sharpened 20+ times Perfect. (Full leather) sheath had threads hanging all out of it...Humm, 🤔, cows with old thread inside of their skin .Humm, 🤔❓
