“You’re 25, what are you waiting for?” That comment is so ugh. Why does she have to be waiting for something? She seems like she is a really fun person, she doesn’t need to have sex to have fun, all the power to her.

Sure sex is great but how about we stop acting like it’s an end all be all it’s literally not. I’ve heard of some who literally just hadn’t run into the right person they would have sex with or could jive with so it took them longer but they weren’t bothered about it. I definitely agree with your comment

and most women don't even experience pleasure from penetrative seggs according to studies so a lot of it is male validation and male pleasure. it's honestly so gross. Women should not feel pressured into having seggs especially when women are also more at risk of getting stds and getting pregnant. Protect ourselves ladies. It's beautiful to have ur self be protected.

"Ooooh what are you waiting for?" I get bothered by this type of reaction. It's okay to be a virgin at 25. It doesn't mean that person lacks people skills, is too introverted, etc. Everyone's path is different. Normalize being a late bloomer and never shame someone for it.

I myself am asexual and honestly, the way these women are saying how if you just like to stay at home and have had 0 sex partners you are boring, and that everyone should experience sex is kinda hurtful! I like sex, and if anything I find the people who think people who don't have sex are "super boring" to actually be the boring ones. Sex is great and all, but there's more to life than sex. I wouldn't want to be around people who are bored by non sexual activities. Sitting around knitting, as the one person said, is not an indicator of what someone's sex life is like, or if they have one or not. Any hobbies aren't.

Yea, them & about 90% of most other people on earth. Lol most ppl can’t even help but seek acceptance & validation through others.. & since the media is so overly sexualized & judgemental, ppl seem to seek those things through partners or just sex period almost subconsciously because it’s so “socially acceptable” to talk about sex so often & openly nonstop- and so commonly praised for in daily society. So we learn from birth what behaviors are known to get the fastest & best positive reaction & attention from others. That is proven to get you popular in school. Proven to get the attention of whoever you’re interested in. So once it’s done without thinking it through first, you’re just left with well Wtf did I do that for by the end of it.

This video reflects the issue of shaming women who haven’t had sex or as many partners. Some people truly don’t desire sex the way other people do. Some people have sexual trauma. Some people simply just do not care to add to the number. It sad to see these women painted as “boring” or “waiting for something”. The time will come and when they’re ready they can explore that part the way they choose.

Not once I was told that I was beautiful or “I Love You”. He was present physically--the breadwinner and provider of the household, but not emotionally--instilling those affirmations and value into his kids so that they won’t search for it from others. I don’t think people realize that sex is not really supposed to be trendy it is a feeling an energy and you really should only have sex when you feel it not when society tells you too, take your time…. I feel like there’s this new idea that to be sexually liberated means to be with as many people as you want/can but that’s really not what’s important. What’s important is that you feel safe and happy when you’re having sexual experiences. I’ve seen people go out and have meaningless one night stands because they say they are liberating themselves, and in reality what they’re doing is sharing themselves with people who don’t deserve or care about them. It’s a dangerous idea especially for younger women

I agreed with you until the last part. Like you said what’s important is that people feel safe and happy. I think it’s crazy how people act like it’s okay that someone has a high body count 50+ people but when someone says they’re a virgin they literally can’t believe it and make that person feel bad. I think it’s because for some people sex is like food, something they can’t live without. It makes them feel satisfied I guess. Without it they’d probably be miserable and depressed. They can’t imagine their lives without it and they can’t fathom why somebody would not be having sex since to them it’s so amazing. With that mindset being spread across social media like KZbin and tiktok more people think it’s weird being a virgin which sucks because it’s not true. :/ I feel like it sends a bad message to younger people saying in order to fit in and be happy you should be having sex which is so so so not true

It's important to note that sex isn't important to everyone. Not everybody wants to have sex, and as an asexual person, I've had people disregard my sexuality and tell me, "I just haven't found the right person yet." But sexuality is a spectrum, and it's important to be inclusive, and not impose your own hateful or judgmental thoughts and opinions on others. Edit 2: Thank you for all the ace people /allys in my comment section, sadly there's alot of hate and stigma against us aro/ace people, but I'm happy we can stick together. Much love to you all. Edit for those who don't seem to understand the purpose of my original comment: Asexuality, isn't a thought or opinion, it's a sexuality that many people identify as, much like all the other sexualites. The purpose of this response was to comment on the video talking about sex and body counts, and explaining that not everybody is interested in sex. This is a direct response to the comment the lady made in the beginning video, when stating that having a body count of zero was depressing. I was simply bringing light to the fact, that having a lack of sexual experience isn't a bad thing for everybody. At any rate, please be nice in the comments. Everyone is valid, and if you feel the need to be acephobic in the comments then, I'm sorry for you, and I hope you find something to make you happy in the future, that way you won't feel the need to mindlessly hate on others.

First two questions I get when I tell people I'm a virgin... "How old are you???" 26. And "so what are you waiting for?!" Same as the girl in this video who is a virgin. Honest answer, I'm waiting so I don't end up like the other girls in this video who say they have regrets about some of the people they've slept with. Also, I've never been one to seek validation from men and it seems like several of the girls with middle of the road numbers admitted that was part of their experience. I'm not saying everyone should wait, but please don't judge me when I say I'm waiting. P.S. People ask that question and never stop to think about the terrible reasons someone might be a virgin such as being abused as a child, being made to suppress your sexuality if you're not straight, having a medical condition that makes sex painful, or having severe body image issues that make you uncomfortable being with someone in such an intimate way. There's many more reasons people are virgins other than "I'm waiting for marriage" or "I'm aesexual". It's embarrassing to be asked that question, so I wish people would stop

Men and women are not the same. Men are not guaranteed to be the biological parent unlike women. Men rely on a lack of promiscuity for paternity. If you look at the statistic you also see that partner count increases divorce and negatively affects marital happiness. Men are the ones that get destroyed in divorces and family court. They risk not seeing their own children and the financial damage can hinder their ability to date. The more partners the higher the chance she never got over one of them. No man wants the attacks on his status by other men talking about intimacy with his wife. Pregnancy is a risk women have that makes her more selective, that means the bar is higher for men, and thus getting many women takes skill an gets praise. We are just not the same. Green flags for men are red flags for women. And feminism is not doing women a favor by lowering women's value measured by men's innate biological preferences. Men will always seek a partner who has not had a lot of previous partners, because it's simply the best, and risk reducing choice.

I'm 27 and my body count is 3 men and 3 women. I'm in a long term relationship with the 3rd man. And we rarely have sex. We don't find it that important. We rather cuddle and make out. We are pretty guarded when it comes to sex because of past sexual traumas that we are working on. When you find the one, sex isn't everything. It's nice sometimes, but conversations and quality time are more important. You can't have sex forever. That's what I've learned from personal experience anyway.

@Kroitk
@Kroitk 2 жыл бұрын
You saying "sex isn't everything/we don't' find it that important". I'm sorry but that's just your coping mechanism, you even said it yourself, you BOTH have sexual traumas. Normal, healthy people have sex as an integral part of any physical and emotional relationship with a partner. Ask any relationship expert, social scientist, or marriage counselor. Sex, when not done in a frugal and impulsive one night stand way, is the closest--literally--you can get to your partner. You are exchanging the most intimate thing you have, and you *FEEL* it. It's the best thing to experience with someone who loves you as you love them. We are not some asexual beings, we are part of this natural world, and we have our sexual desires as WELL as our intellect and reason. Emotional connection, caring, support, and SEX are all integral to a complete and healthy relationship. Plus, it's fun and exciting and even good for your health and pair-bonding. I hope you deal with your sexual traumas and so does your guy. Because you're missing out on one of the best natural blessings we humans have when we meet someone who wants to share it with.

It takes me about 3-6 months at least of nonstop hanging out with someone to form that crush. So I don't experience primary attraction. That being combined with the asexuality I have never looked at a person and thought they were attractive. that being said I am technically homoromanic but I go by gay/lesbian. New age free love liberalism and tolerance is to blame, it welcomes dysfunction with open arms, in the name of love they shout, but it’s all fake love, it’s all just virtue signalling for social brownie points in a need to conform to what is trendy, to what the elite social engineers in control want. None of the SJW/liberal crowd authentically care/love to do the things necessary to ensure that things will get better and is why everything will only get worse. Making things better requires an acknowledgement of reality which nobody wants to do because reality has too much uncomfortable truths. A Promiscuous past for example being 100% correlated to an inability to pair bond and a very high likelihood of divorce. If you actually care about people you wouldn’t tell them that being promiscuous is okay that everybody can just do what they want and shouldn’t be judged. Personally, I’m waiting for marriage, but I hate that so many people think that virgins are boring or depressing? It’s just such a weird way to think that sexual pleasure is somehow fun and the only way to be exciting. Also the assumption made that the girl with 0 partners has a toy and masturbates instead was also hurtful 💀 it should be more accepted that some people don’t want or need sex and that there’s nothing wrong with choosing not to have relations- Don’t sell yourself short and just have sexual relations just because you feel pressured to- if you want to be a virgin or not have a lot of relations that should be totally fine instead of seeming like there’s something wrong with you

1:05 “0 sounds really depressing” wtf? nothing should be depressing about being a virgin. some people are asexual. some people are waiting until they find, “they one”. many view sex as something that should be had with someone you love, and can’t be had with a lot of people, who simply like you. some women like passionate sex with lovers, some women like a lot of sex, with people they simply ‘like’ and not ‘love’. neither of which are bad, we’re humans with different sex drives. i really hate how modern feminism, encourages all women to sleep with as many men as they can. this can lead to a bunch of unwanted pregnancies, stds, and huge negative psychological effects. if you’re gonna sleep with many people, use protection, get tested (get him tested aswell), and never feel pressured by society to do so. if you don’t wanna do it, don’t do it. don’t give someone else your body, just b/c society said so. that’s the PROPER way to go about women sexual liberation.

The average looking Joe who's working at a 9-5 job/doesn't make over 6 figures/it's not over 6 foot or good looking is pretty much invisible to the "modern woman".
