theory about the Fred movies: Fred’s mom is a struggling alcoholic who is dealing with depression, hence her attitude and constantly delivering the line “Freddy, I’m gonna take a nap” she’s depressed for the life that she gives to Fred feeling sorrow for not being able to give him the things he knows he deserves. Fred copes with having an absent father by having one of his heroes take that place, his hero being John Cena. John is not actually Fred’s dad, more of a figment of his imagination, and what goes hand in hand with Fred having an absent father who’s John Cena? He can’t see him. Thank you for reading that lmao

Guardians of the galaxy is one of if not the best marvel film as a film on its own. If you take it away from the wider universe it still stands as a great film maybe better than any other marvel film and works within that universe too.
