Every faction before The Shield was just about elevating the leader. Now, with JD, Bloodline, brawling brutes or imperium, I feel like we are seeing these side characters building up their own personality and becoming their own identity instead of just muscle henchmen for the leader of the faction. It's future proofing talents to already have a huge advantage when it's their turn to do fly on their own. It's a really healthy business plan at the end of an era where all these legends are on the brink of retirement.

As for Woods and Big E, man it’s tough, they’re both fantastic, keep in mind that every member of the New Day has INSANE levels of charisma, and they’re all fantastic in the ring (in their own unique way), for me Xavier Woods is better in ring (he’s just more versatile and has indie experience) but Big E is a better mic worker, In the wrestlemania 40 press conference he was on par with CM Punk and he showed this passion that is very hard to capture, overall Big E is better though, I mean he’s injured and still has people interested in the possibility of a return (if it ever happens) meanwhile Xavier Woods is stuck and needs to revitalize his career quick.

Seth Rollins is the exact opposite of everything you just said, and not only is he getting bashed for defending it everywhere, but defending it too often does not make it prestigious, it makes it the 24/7 title. Literally nobody wants Seth as champion, they want him to drop it to either Finn, Priest, or even LA Knight or Gunther. Roman didn't defend his belt because there was nobody left for him to face on Smackdown that he hasn't already beaten or is worthy of a title shot. The Bloodline story is the best in wrestling, and is far more important than a random match against AJ Styles because a bunch of basement dwellers are mad he's not defending it. Gunther is also a midcard champion that defends his titles on live TV against random opponents. And no matter how good Gunther's matches are, nobody with at least half a brain is going to argue his title defenses are more compelling or more important than Roman's. And while Gunther wins matches by himself, he rarely wins them clean either. He's visibly tapped out in multiple matches, albeit without the ref seeing it, used the exposed turnbuckle, and has used low blows. And if you've been paying attention to Raw lately, he's not even winning by himself anymore, Kaiser and Vinci provide distractions during the match. "I've been hearing reports"-you haven't watched shit then and you have zero idea what you're talking about. Your reports came likely from either Meltzer or Fightful's ballsacks, the two least credible sources in wrestling. Your opinion matters little in the numbers and money Roman and the Bloodline are drawing. Actually, your opinion doesn't matter at all. Fixed it.

Hot take: Corporate Kane could have been an excellent character if he was given the right development and position. Having him wrestle in slacks and act like a generic manager was a mistake. Suit, yes. But black on black, or black on red. Have him use corporate speak, but with a creepy smile and veiled threats. When someone opposed the Authority, maintain the "Devil's Favorite Demon" energy, be merciless, but revert quietly back to intimidating authority after he dished out punishment. Think Devil's Advocate, or Marcus from the last season of Angel.
