I love the simplicity of 06, but I love the roster of 07 more. The storyline feature is frustrating to me since it doesn’t tell you whether each wrestler involved are eligible for the storyline until after you try to book it

2006. The incredibly restrictiveness of the rivalries and title matches in 07 completely ruins it, you can't do something random like Eugene vs Andre the Giant for the world title. And 08 is ruined by the tiny roster and being way too overcomplicated

I love the freedom in 06; it’s what allows you to truly book whatever you want. The restrictions in booking is my only gripe with 07.

You can change the restrictions in '07 to make it just as open as '06. The only thing that really gets me annoyed in '07 is that i constantly run out of money.

SVR 2007 hands down has the best Gm mode mainly because of the storylines they have and the stacked roster which is why I enjoy this game so much SVR 2008 if only it had a deeper roster and better 24/7 mode I would have liked the game more

@ yeah if only the roster was stacked which is not feels very flat and the 24/7 mode it’s okay but nothing compared a lot of the cutscenes in 24/7 mode is the same repetitive stuff rinse wash repeat also the gameplay felt slow which it doesn’t bother me to much but like if they improved upon those 3 things like having a better 24/7 mode and deeper roster I would probably have liked it more I still like it thought but there’s flaws for sure

I don’t think I’ve ever completed a full GM mode on a game that wasn’t 06. I’d get so frustrated with the storylines feature for the older games

@theJimmyAndrews it give u more information about rivalries u could turn off injuries u can turn off amount of cash u spend for a main event match like for example if a hell in a cell cost 5000 to book it will be free no other gm mode did that 08 is good for building popularity faster one of the best hands down the only problem it it lacks depth

I’ll always go back to them all for different reasons, but 06 will always be my #1 for introducing the mode, but also for its simplicity and freedom to do whatever I want 👍

It's probably me but I'm a bit disappointed that WWECW only has one title in gm mode like why can't we share a raw or smackdown title or even have the hardcore title as the secondary title.

@@theJimmyAndrews plus it should have a bit of an gimmick like maybe the title being defended every week or even when you sent the champion to something like a interview or charity event, there is a small chance that the champ will get attacked for the title that could result in a backstage braw or something like that.

08 GM mode didn’t work, it was buggy, unfinished, and having 3 brands with a Low roster made it difficult to draft a great roster for your brand. I actually properly won with ECW in Gm mode a few years ago. The weird thing is I won Gm of the year and had the second best Ratings (even tho my cards would be stacked and everyone else would win with 3 matches max)

The bugs and clunkiness definitely hurt the game. They had such enormous goals for the game, they messed up on the basics in a big way. Props to you for winning with ECW legit 💪

2008's seems the most broken to me. Like people seem to jump ship too easily, they don't gradually lose morale. You can't make the triple threat hardcore tornado tag a title match Plus some stories like Patriotism don't seem to trigger, no matter who i assign

It definitely is a bit clunky and incomplete for sure. It has its positives, though. I love the interactive events/activities you can have the wrestlers participate in, as well as the trainings. 08 was very ambitious; they hit some goals, but fell flat in others and some of the basics in pursuit of those ambitious goals.

I really enjoyed SVR 06 gm mode the most probably. That game had a better roster of the 3 and you could have nearly any match type on the weekly shows. Plus, you could have anyone challenge for the titles. The only downside for me is that you couldn't turn off injuries. SVR 07 gm mode was fun with having options to turn off injuries or costs. Although it just seemed like it took forever to build up certain wrestlers who had low popularity and the popularity levels were whack for most people like Jim Neidhart having 86 popularity while Undertaker has a 78 popularity starting off. I wish there was a way to customize pop levels in the mode to make it more accurate. Then SVR 08 gm mode felt too easy to beat(unless you pick ECW) and it would've been much better if they had a larger roster. I feel the roster sizes should be 25-30 in all games but that's my take on it.
