Which years of Chevy C10's between the 1960 and 1966 do you like the Best? The Least? Let me know!

My dad taught me how to drive in his 64, six cylinder, three-on-the-tree so I have a soft spot for the 64-66 C10s. Currently restoring a 66 & you are right, very difficult to find decent original parts & aftermarket very pricey & not as good as original. I watch Gibson 63 as well, have learned alot from him. 66 is my favorite year also but that's probably because I have one. Also my favorite costum cab badge is the one on my truck it's the little one that just says it. I have only seen a few of them like it.

You are 💯 right on the reverse lights 66 only and 64 65 66 have the same doors but the earlier years have the knee knockers cabs and doors

I was born in 1975 and by the time I was old enough to drive in my little north Alabama farm town there were 65 Chevys everywhere sitting in pastors. My first truck was a 1968 GMC custom cab. Still wish I had that truck today.

1964-1966 I liked the best ,and fleet side before step side , in the late 70's I had a 1965 chevy 4×4 3/4 ton ,, the wheels were even split rims had to take apart to change a tire , but the 1960,1961 didn't do it for me , but there all nice...

All of those years are cool. My favorite year out of them is 1964 because it was the first year for that cab design which looks awesome. My favorite year out of all of the years vehicles were produced in is 1972 because the square bodies were first released "during the mid to late summer season" for the 1973 model year. Also what I like about 1972 was cabover semis were the king of the roads too.

1960 and 1961 have a unique hood design that is highly sought after. They stopped making those hoods while these trucks were still in production so if you got in a fender bender, you got a 62-66 hood as a replacement from GM.

I’ve got a ‘65 C10 pick up truck same factory color as yours but mines a long bed … but I love it. I wanted the long bed with the small rear window. They’re all nice! But some say the big rear window in the’66 is a favorite. I prefer the small window though. Mine don’t have trim but the trim looks very nice! Love your truck and the stance!

I've had '60, '62, '63 and '66 models and I liked them all but if I had to pick a fav it would be the '60. It was the last year for the Apache models, the 1st year for the 60-66 series and call me crazy but I've always been a sucker for the dual headlights. 🙂

I prefer the GMCs. Had a '64 Camper Special long bed, basically 3/4 ton IFS and 1-ton rear with both leafs and "helper" coil-overs. You could jump on the diamond plate step bumper and it was like jumping on concrete lol. Also had the "sporty" '66 1/2 ton coils all around. The big block V6s were boat anchors, but could pull anything at idle. Same mpgs empty or loaded lol.

i prefer the 64 to 66 but like the 66 the best because of the reverse lights in the fleetside also i prefer the gmc dash but chevy grille. I know i am weird. don't really care for the 60 to 63 cabs although i wouldn't turn one down if the price was right. i also like a big back window over the small

64 thru 66 is a much prettier truck than earlier, the main difference between a 64 and 66 is dash color and back up lights
