After playing 2 session, I can tell you the hold time is real!!. You can really feel the shuttle bounce on your string. It can be feel when you making soft touch like back court drop,drive to net,etc. In term of smash, if you rely more on swing speed this racket is for you. I cannot generate enough power with my 100zz,so racket definitely is for me. Lastly the frame is soft feeling and fast.Like really really fast compare to arc11 . Couldn't tell much about the shaft,almost the same but thinner. Hope this help.

That thing about the Arc 11 pro being a great off-day racket is reaaaallly tempting, but maybe not anytime soon or i'll go homeless LMAO I just got my 99 pro recently and I am enjoying every second of it! Oddly not as demanding as I would've thought🤯. It even feels a touch too speedy at times 🤔. Maybe because I prepared myself by putting lead tape at the top of the head of my racket at the time. Hey CKY! Brilliant review - I have have had the pleasure of owning the 10 and 11 for many years now although my only 11 suffered a frame snap last week after a big clash with a beginner player two weeks prior :( In bittersweet fashion, I ordered two new Arc 11 pros on release day here in the UK, now already sold out everywhere it seems. I'll be sure to come back with my thoughts on it vs the 2 OGs. Having moved back to the Arc 10 this week while awaiting my new racket, I can feel the extra repulsion from it easily. Quick drives are effortless. Unfortunately, I didn't take to my Astrox 88D Pro, (all my rackets are 3U) as I couldn't defend with it quickly enough and I actually found my smash was weaker (although steeper) with the astrox in hand vs the top Arcsabers. I'm a strong guy so generating power is easy but I found the 3U 88D Pro so hard to use in comparison.. maybe the arcsabers have spoiled me. Anyways, I've decided to sell my 88D pro this week, barely used, new strings, re-gripped and everything, sticking to even balance from now on.
@CKYew2 жыл бұрын
I do agree, I find the 3U 88D Pros a lot more demanding compared to the 4U models which I really enjoy playing. If you liked the Arc 10 and 11, you'll love the 11 Pros. If you're buying from YC Sports, do remember to use my discount code for additional discounts!

But because of the Control Assit bumper which you did not mention in the review, the bumpber hold the mainstring too much and cause the net much harder and not forgiving as 11 /10. Have you test this CK ? :)
@CKYew2 жыл бұрын
Course I did! 😊 In my full 11 pro/tour/play review, I’ve mentioned it already in there. The bumper is supposed to assist with holding time so whilst not necessarily making the stringbed stiffer, it should allow more ‘flex’ to the string upon contact of the shuttle.

No I wouldn’t put lead tape on any rackets. It completely destroys how the manufacturers intended it to feel. The 88D Pro is different racket, I’d say it’s faster, certainly more powerful but the 11 Pro is certainly steadier 👍🏼
