I'm so glad they're shedding light on mental health. It seems to go so unnoticed and it makes me sick. I recently went to the ER after having panic attacks and losing consciousness in my living room. An ambulance was called and I was never hooked up to anything, only asked questions and was dismissed for not having any insurance to help pay for therapy. Now I'm dealing with $2,800 worth of hospital bills. Mental health problems are real and people are feeling suffocated from these problems everyday. Just because it's mental does not mean it isn't a problem and that it doesn't exist. You're never alone.

This song hit me so hard... Now in December 2020 my dad went all of the sudden to the emergency hospital for colon cancer operation, then later cancer in the liver... At the same time my mother got Covid-19 and got deathly ill and was in hospital bed for like 14 days... And here is little me at 24 years old, all of the sudden in a fucking horrendous situation all in a week. My sister also got covid and her boyfriend... I was the only one in my family being able to do normal things, then ofc I got fired 1 month later being abscent from my job... Then after I got fired, 1 week later my grandmother died (not covid, thank god)... All of this happened in 1,5 month... I'm still in awe how I even woke up from my bed at the time... But I got a new job 1 month later, my mother got better, my father is having his second cancer operation soon (he's healthy for now)... But fuck me am I nervous still... This song hit so hard... Thank God I can still stand on my feet in all this misery! Thank you As she sleeps, such a beautiful song!

its been 2 years since my brother passed away due to kidney failure and those covid things i was the only one that could take care for my brother in hospital, 'cause the procedure allows only 1 person from my family. day by day my bro's condition getting worse i cried inside the bathroom, listen to this song "God im nervous, dunno what to do, i am afraid, and if the worst is yet to come then i don't know if we'll make it out, ". my parents calls me regularly checking my condition. i always hold my tears and said that im okay. surely i know that i am nervous, i am afraid. "i'd go to sleep in the fire to hold you now, so you are never alone" hits me really hard. 'cause the day God took him away, the only thing i could do is hold his hand, until he's gone. it leaves me with some kind of trauma about hospital or taking care for someone i love feels like i were never enough. i feel guilty for my brother, that i can never show my band's album, 'cause i know that he was waiting my band to release those album. which is yet to come. 2:14 and 2:57 hits me hard either, some kind of rage that i can't tell brother, wherever u are, you'll always be my brother, my best man everyday i really miss u thank u while she sleeps for giving birth to this song, what an amazing and beautiful song i appreciate to whoever read this, it means so much for me sorry for bad english love u all

Chorus] I'm nervous I think it's time to believe But I'm nervous That the answer's right in front of me [Verse 1] All this pain we undertake Learned how to love our own mistakes 'Cause we all share the fear to bear this atmosphere So you are never alone I know the stars will collide and make no sound I told the water to rise and I can't swim I'd go to sleep in the fire to hold you now So you are never alone [Verse 2: Lawrence Taylor, Simon Neil] But I choose to not obey Shortcuts to lovе our own escapes Can I find a place whеre all these thoughts dissolve? But I'm nervous But I'm nervous We all look up to the stars to find something An irreplaceable light to hold trust in I know that we'll be alright, I need you now So we are never alone [Chorus] I'm nervous I think it's time to believe But I'm nervous That the answer's right in front of me [Post-Chorus] We are so blind Oh [Interlude] We are so blind We are so blind [Bridge: Lawrence Taylor, Simon Neil] (We never explain) I get this feeling that we're never enough (When the fear's rushing in) That the truth is like the water as it swallows us (Then we face all our pain) We're building castles in the dirt and the dust (And start over again) If the worst is yet to come, then I don't know if we'll make it out [Pre-Chorus: Lawrence Taylor, Simon Neil] We are so blind We are so blind, we are so blind, we are so blind We are so blind We are so blind, we are so blind, we are so blind [Chorus: Lawrence Taylor, Simon Neil] I'm nervous; it's not enough to live in the dirt I think it's time to be; and not enough to feign your concern Nervous; so say something, do something That the path is there for us to lead; so say something, do something

I hear all the praise for this song loud and clear but how is nobody talking about how sick that breakdown is!? It's amazing even by the standards of a band who always write amazing breakdowns
