You actually get a lot of these big parfaits in Japan but in honesty many places fill the bottom with corn-flakes and jelly to make it look bigger than it actually is. 😅 Yours looks far more Oishii!

Seems like this is the case for many things in Japan 😅 Even at conbini, when you get sando's (esp. fruit ones) they stuff them towards the front to look "full" for show, and then the back-half is usually empty/mostly empty.

for the future i would recommend you something we do at the restaurant at work for big events which is to make the ice cream balls in advance and freeze them on some baking paper individually that way they go way more solid and won't melt away while you take your time platting it all up

day 2 of asking alvin to make the curry of life from naruto. i want to make it clear that i love every episode of anime with alvin so so much, i simply have desired to see the real curry of life on this channel for so long that i must see it happen.

a couple of suggestions: chazuke (tea on rice) from bungou stray dogs :D i believe all the ingredients of it are listed right at the beginning of the first episode so that might make accuracy a little easier :D if not that then: odasaku’s curry rice, from bungou stray dogs S2. i think the thing that makes oda’s curry rice different is that the rice and curry are already mixed when served! it’s actually based off of the curry rice from a real restaurant in osaka, called jiyūken, or freedom restaurant!! the real author who oda’s named after used to visit there, lol. but tbh curry rice appears in lots of anime so there’s a lot of choices there ANSKSB the parfait looks delicious, i have to get around to watching this anime soon 😵‍💫😵‍💫
