No, I lost her grip. The point is I fell. I had no idea how long the drop was. Even Xoana’s ‘glitching’ couldn’t save me. I didn’t scream; I just tumbled face full of genuine fear. I describe this differently because this is the first time I experience real anxiety in this-natural gratifying fear. I didn’t know why I was flying, but now I was falling. Being calm was lightyears away. I made a sound, but it sounded like a dog’s whimper. My eyes slammed shut, the force of the wind pulled them shut. My final thought, as it would seem, was Why me! I jumped into the snow. Popping out of the thing's tentacles. Tentacles? I thought oh, no, no, no, no! I turned around slowly. “Hewo” it said as if it just saw the cutest kitten in the world. Its voice was disgustingly deep. I heard a thud. I turned away from the beast, which is always a great idea. There was Xoana, a purple light surrounded her. “Don’t expect to see your sisters when you dropped,” she croaked. “Huh?” I exclaimed. I felt a cold slime creepy up my leg, “AH!” I screamed. “Yor to peti wen yo scawed,” the deep voice taunted. I thrashed my body backward. There it was leaning over me, smiling. It’s writhing tentacles now came from the nose, supposedly not to break the hideous smile of his. A tentacle sprouted from his other nostril and snatched my torso, locking my arms near my chest. For some reason, I didn’t feel scared; maybe my mind was just broken from the fall. I felt challenged. Like this big beast that spoke like a kid was ready for a fight. My lip curled up to my teeth. I thrash my body forward, of course, his tentacles don’t snap under my ‘force.’ “ITITOT!” he roars. I pull my arms out from the tentacles and ball them into fists. The beast starts floating above the snow. Suddenly, Liza and Lila dash into our little clearing. Liza shares a glance with me, she whispers something to Lila. I notice her hands just like mine, in fists. Top 10 Anime Battles I joke to my brain. Lila is dashing through the clearing, confusion is on her face. Her navy-blue eyes were shaking. I turned back to Liza and suddenly remembered what we were (probably) about to do. Liza mouthed a few things, Just a minute ago, we were scared. Now, look at us. Ja, no, ha Welp, I’m going for the head. Let’s beat up this freak. I smirked like a rebel. I am about to beat a grown ‘man’ to shreds. I realized. Things were frozen until that thought popped into my mind. Suddenly, the battle roared into gear. The Beast turned towards Liza; it was distracting, so I dragged my arm around its thin legs and tried knocking it over. It lifted and tried shaking me off. I stayed, I ripped off its shoes as if it would do anything, and it did. It revealed hideous ripped socks and caused the monster to crash to the floor. I crawled up to its face and found Liza there tugging on its tentacles; I balled my hand and gave him a glance terror filled his eyes. I pulled my arm back and punc- “Calm down now...”

Hi, I have a few suggestions for future readings! -The Telltale Heart -The Cask of Amontillado Or maybe a chapter or two from -Dracula -The Hobbit -The Phantom of the Opera or -The Count of Monte Cristo? These are just some of my favorites, does anyone else have any suggestions?
