Gardeners (alongside other services) don’t work on weekends which is why the plants were dry and brittle. You could add the juice fizzing machine since it’s a bit more automatic/less sim-involved and it can be done in the background of your other tasks

At level ten of the gardening skill, the "super sell" option has already been unlocked and you can choose that option on plants to sell harvestables for even more than you do from your inventory. That's cash you're missing out on right there. It will instantly sell everything in a given area around your sim, but you may still need to go to a different area and super sell again if it missed anything. Also, nectar sells for more when you sell it to the nectar man in the western map.

You should select "Sell all" so you don't have to manually sell the gardening stuff- also sprinkler to water would be great. Also buy a "Needs No One" trait so your Sim isn't depressed all the time lmaooooo

Gardeners and maids etc. do not work weekends. I would suggest to buy the scarecrow and befriend it. He waters the plants and helps with social needs too. He also cleans up and cooks :) but I would somehow block him off from the computer, easel etc. Maybe build a "garage/shed" and lock the door to allow no access

I think you should upgrade your bed so that sleeping only takes like 1 sim hr. to fill up. Also you don’t have to harvest before you sell. You could also sell things on the selling table to make like double the amount of each thing especially the paintings

You make more super selling the plants vs harvesting and selling from your inventory also fertilizing the plants with high value ($$$) plants and fish will make the quality go up and the higher the quality the more you can sell them for ❤

Orchids are the most expensive plant available (I believe) and give a crazy amount of simoleons per harvest. Graft a lily to a snapdragon to get an orchid (or go into debug and find one)

I feel like if you have level 10 nectar making skill you wouldn’t be falling over. Carl's Sim Guides has a mod that fertilizes all and evolves all so that you don't have to take all that time doing it. You just click on one plant that either needs to be fertilized or evolved and say fertilize all or evolve all. It's really nice when you have a huge garden.
