Buy them a mood-let solver before you divorce the other half. As soon as the blue icon hits get the sim to drink it and the sad mood-let goes away. It cost 500 points from the aspiration panel.

You can use the journal to slowly reduce negative moodlets. When done for teens and kids it raises their emotional control

Good idea! Playing an instrument also helps with emotional control 🎶 And volounteering increases empathy

Also, listening to classical music is great to unwind and reduce negative/tense moodlets

To help with Dustin's character traits, you can "Encourage" his behavior when he's good. For example, after he washes the dishes, Toni can "Encourage Washing Dishes," and he'll gain some extra manners. (He has to have done the thing first before the "Encourage" option will show up. It's found in the same section as the "Discipline" interactions.) Sooo excited that you'll be picking this back up! I love this little family. Toni's doing a great job, and I can't wait to see how Dustin does as a teenager!

Ive loved this series, its gotta be one of my favroteis that youve done. Just a suggestion but when you do come back to Dustins teen years/adult years, maybe have him try to rekindle his relationship with his dad and take it from there? Love your vids!

I love this LP. Definitely my favourite that you’ve done. I really hope it comes back! I want to see Tony become a world famous author and be able to send Dustin to college 🥹 I feel like Dustin would have a super wild college experience at first and struggle to keep up for the first few terms cause he’s partying and drinking too much cause of his unhealed trauma with his dad. He’d be a little bit of a f-boy at first cause he didn’t grow up seeing a healthy relationship. But then he would pull it together cause he wants to do his mom proud and realises he doesn’t want to follow in his dad’s footsteps!

Please please please can you do another extended rags to riches series but using Cottage Living. I adore the Horse Ranch one you did but I've watched it about 15 times now! I find you very relaxing and hilarious to listen to and love your style of gameplay. I think your voice and very pleasing English accent would suit it very well. Toni divorced an absolutely god awful man. Wouldn't you be happy over that? I know I was happy to divorce my toxic ex husband so I totally understand how Toni is feeling. It's a very liberating feeling!

I haven't experienced that personally so obviously your firsthand experience is more valuable here, but I would think there's some sadness over what could have been (if the relationship had worked or if a better relationship had existed in its place).

I feel like there should be Sad moodlet for the "what could have been" but "happy" moodlet should override it, especially if the relationship dynamic is strained or difficult. But then again this is sims 4 lol that's asking too much

I think the decision to give the option of divorce as a positive outcome was a good idea. It can be the right thing for many people. We all just need to bare in mind when someone tells us their divorced to not say "I'm sorry", but instead ask "How do you feel about that?".

It is still really weird that the kids go from these very clearly elementary looking, innocent, prepubescent children to almost full grown adults when they age into teens. The change kind of threw me at the end there lol
