I hope you go on here again and click on the adopt a pet option to see if they were listed. I thought you were going to do that here lol. This was cool. I always look for creative ways to make money in this game. Right now my current sim was homeless and made money playing music until she could produce CDs on the music station and gain tons of royalties from her label. So far she's made 25 "albums" and rakes in over 260k.

I've actually asked this question so many times but cats can be so... SSOOOOOO SO SO agonizing. Like I had to "Convince to Mate with..." so many times before I could get a litter of kits. And then ofc in vanilla, it then takes forever for the cat the look pregnant and give birth. It'd be a full time job of encouraging the cats the breed and then waiting for a whole Sim year to go by lmao Edit: maybe I experienced this differently but idk

I've made sims for this too and could hardly ever get the pets to mate. They would always wind up disliking some or even all of the other potential mates. And not being able to control the pets (without mod) just makes it so much more annoying. So I kept the sims in town but stopped playing them.

Having a strong relationship with both pets plus having toys around or things they can both interact with helps increase your chance of success

I’m happy you used the name ‘Mila’ It my real name and I don’t hear it much. Edit: there’s also a trick where you can control the pets! Press Shift + Alt + G (I think) Then in the mods chat box say ‘testing heats true’ and then say ‘pets.toggle_selectable_pets’ and bam you can control you pets!
