I know, its a struggle for everyone. it's also the most difficult to teach. did you see the live where I worked on this for some of the viewers? they said it was very helpful.

Hey I figured it out! I used 2 whites, a black and a yellow ribbon. That kind of helped me see what I was doing more and it looks awesome. Thanks so much for making these videos!

How would I add this to a dowel?

I have to ask.. why would you want to add it to a dowel?? You can use a dowel to make this braid. That’s actually how I learned to make it but after trying to make video tutorials doing so was extremely difficult so I learned to make it without one. If you want to make one using a dowel you need to attach ribbons to top of dowel (using rubber band), & start braiding!!

@@HCooperCraftyBug I was trying to show you a picture of what we called a shaker which is a lot of ribbon loops in the shape of ball kinda and the dole is how you carry it . I would love to learn how to replicate it .All the people that we bought them from are dead and no one knows how to make them anymore!

Oh! That sounds cool! I would either make one like I show and then try running a dowel through one end before securing that end. Or make one around a dowel. Glue 4 ribbons to end of dowel then braid them around it. Does that make sense?

Yes ma’am! I’ve done several now but that 1st one took a few tries before I got it. 2nd one went faster but still had to keep talking myself through it lol. Thank you for the videos you’ve taught me quite a bit!
