Still one of the best albums of the 90s. Criminally underrated

Probably the greatest Irish band along with Power of Dreams.Whipping Boy gets 80k views and The Cranberries get a billion.Makes no sense considering The Cranberries are fucking awful and always have been.The Sundays rip off merchants with much worse songs.
@minimumwage2millionaire3 жыл бұрын
@@HenryWaltonJones a bit harsh on the cranberries and why turn music taste into sports day? There's no competition. Cranberries and Whipping Boy were both great at their respective art.

@@minimumwage2millionaire Cause they're overrated,bland and crap and always have been

@@HenryWaltonJones "overrated" and "underrated" are subjective terms. Sounds like you're more suited to watching wrestling or something.

Beautiful. This makes me cry. Welcome back Whipping Boy. Hope to see you live again soon. Last time I saw you play, Ferghal was swinging a Hoover around on stage. Amazing

Probably my favourite Whipping Boy song. It brings back so many memories as a Dublin lad living in London. It brought me back home listening to Heartworm.

Trying to follow up with a better album was virtually impossible. Should have been much bigger than they were. Still they managed to appear on Jools Holland.

Holy shit. I found this band from a michigan shoegaze anthology record, after listening for a while I heard people say Fontaines DC sounds like them and they do and they’re great. I’m going to one of their shows and I had my own little daydream that they would cover this song only for me to find out in this comment section that they already did. I’m ecstatic❤

I remember an Album cover of an animated boy in a cape dressed like a superhero with a symbol on his chest and the name : Whipping Boy, which incidentally refers to a person in similar age to a future monarch who receives a punishment for an offense committed by the aforementioned monarch. The purpose was to instill a more in touch with duty honor and responsibilities of a king or queen.
