This video is part of a Northwell Health patient education series on a Whipple procedure, which is the removal of the head of the pancreas, duodenum, gall bladder, end of bile duct and sometimes a small portion of the stomach. The purpose of this video is to provide patients with the best preparation for successful recovery after their Whipple surgery. Our goal is that you and your loved ones understand what to expect during each phase of recovery.
