I don't know who thumbs downed this... this was a lifesaver. I had taken off more and more of the back trying to get underneath it... all I had to do was slide it forward. Lifesaver dude.

They probably disliked it because they have to put work into fixing something. I don't mind fixing something to make it last longer which since this fix it's been working flawlessly. 😁

I was able to easily remove the control panel, fixed the corrosion on the circuit board and clear the F6 E2 error code (loss of communication). Note to other readers: Don't put overdamp heavy comforters in the dryer, spin those an extra time because you don't want the control boards to get damp and corrode.

A few things that could cause this issue is either a tripped breaker,poor connection to power, a blown fuse in the dryer or a dead control board.

Then it's possible the control panel has gone bad. The one in the video had to be replaced because the circuit board corroded from moisture buildup from an improperly install dryer vent. (not my doing it was an apartment)

Is it worth replacing the control panel? I got mine about 4 yrs ago. Started just blinking. Appliance repair guy said I need a new one but it’s over $350 w labor. Any advice?

@@veterantrucker1018 how did u find out it was the contract panel that was bad? My dryer turns on but won't get hot Had a guy out who said everything around heating element was good. He came back a week later and dryer worked for a week

I found out my control panel was bad when I took it off and all the contacts were corroded. My contacts had corroded from moisture building up in the back of the control panel
