Is there any way to stop the water leaking until I can replace the bearings?
@LAapplianceguy22 сағат бұрын
@@dad0041 if the water is coming down the center I’m not real sure there is a way to stop it. But you can maybe throw a washer pan under it to catch the water that way it doesn’t get on your floor.

@@LAapplianceguy what about using silicone somewhere in the bottom of the tub as a Band-Aid?
@LAapplianceguy15 сағат бұрын
@ well it would work if the leak is from the outer part of the seal to drum. But if the leak is coming from where the seal meets the shaft. I don’t know if it would help. Maybe it might. But the shaft has to move. So it’s a toss up.

I replaced the bearings back in April. It has started with the loud jet noise. Did I get a cheap set of bearings? Is it ok to use the washer until I either replace it or fix it? Can you recommend a place to buy used ones? I live in Wilcox County.
@LAapplianceguy18 күн бұрын
@@dad0041 oh no. I have had premature failure out of them. But it usually happens if the seal starts leaking early. That stinks. Not really sure around Wilcox. But it won’t hurt anything until it gets to where it’s throwing codes. Man can you get a new set under warranty? The whirlpool parts get 1 year warranty

@@LAapplianceguy ...I worked for a major retailer doing appliance repairs.
