Good video. Try using an empty jar under the drain discharge. It should help reduce splashing. started using one for my countertop dishwasher.

I agree completely. I’ve said this many times that the impeller’s that they put in the portable washers are much stronger than the ones in the full sized machines.

Never thought whirlpool will sold this type of washer in US.they sold this similar type washer in Hong Kong and Asia market. My home got a similar Whirlpool machine but in full size (7.5kg).It purchased in 2016 and still going strong. They had sold the US agitator type here but it is rare. (I live in Hong Kong)

I suspect the copious amount of water we see here is well within the He standards. Somehow, these larger 5+ cu ft top loaders use the same amount as this Whirlpool🙄. Maybe impeller/wash plates perform better for portable-sized washers🤷🏾‍♂️.

I agree with you completely. They brag about having a huge tub, but they only fill to the amount of a small tub so your clothes on top never get wet.

Wish they still made the Danby portable with the agitator. They all went to wash plates now.

I had the Danby with the agitator boy was it a wild machine on the Highfill level the agitator would throw the water over the top onto the floor.

@@petermaz701 I bought one for a friend about 4 or so years ago and they overloaded it and stripped out the agitator. I got a little upset but what can you do ? It was one of the last that had that agitator. I was looking for one recently but found that they don't make it with the agitator anymore.

Can you ever do a review on the RCA 3.0 RPW302c portable washer. I think mine has a spin delay or whine up and whine down problem during the spin cycle.

@@YAHOVAH I never did the 3.0 but I have done the 1.6 and they operate the same way they wind up to get to full speed so they wind up a little coast down wind up a little coast down until they finally get to full speed if that's what's happening to yours that's fine. Don't worry.

I was wondering if the engineer designers were thinking about the low wear and tear in that type of method of spin cycle which is pretty smart. Thank you so much for showing us how this machine works and its features. I had a Whirlpool washing machine that worked great for 20 years till recently. When I went looking online looks like it has an issue with the lid latch I have been debating on rather or not to have a handyman come take a look at it or buy a new washer?? I have taken a look at this machine in Lowes and being I have a small narrow laundry room this would be a great fit and being its advertised as a portable washer but i would use it as a permanent washer and I noticed you like it does it hold a good amount load and does it wash the clothes good?? Thank you again

Yes it does wash very well. It does tangle some cloths today but all wash plate washers do that.

Hi peter thank you for the video you are hilarious. The drain adaptor that you have hook up to the faucet itself is that something that came with the machine or did you purchase that separate? If so wha is the name of that split thing that i like better than having the hose in the sink. If you can please direct me on where to purchase and the name of it. Thank you so much for your help. No, it actually comes with the machine itself Plus, they give you a separate drain hose. If you want to hook it up permanently, you buy the hot water in the cold water hose. But the one you see in the video comes with the machine.

Yes, on the heavy duty cycle it fills up all the way and does two rinses.

It was from a local dealer, but you can get it from Home Depot or PC Richards. You have to look online.

No, it does not leak and it washes very well. The only thing I will say is that it does tangle the clothes knots them one into the other sometimes.

It makes no sense that Whirlpool puts five speed bumps on the impellers of their small capacity portable washers and use ample amounts of water yet only three speed bumps on the impellers of their SUV sized HE top loaders, measure the water usage by the teaspoon and wonder why their HE top loaders under perform.

They are made by Whirlpool but in their Chinese division.Not by Panasonic (Panasonic has their own company and factory in china.they didnt OEM Whirlpool machine.Whirlpool had a factory in China too.they sold this type of washer in Asia market. It just uncommon to known in US market.

@@petermaz701 It is understandable because this type of washer is uncommon in US.The US impeller HE type had much lower water usage and different style of impeller. This type of washer historical is well known made by Japanese company.
