Just a little correction for you is Ireland starting using the E in whiskey to differentiate from Scotch Whisky. Japan uses the Whisky spelling because they learned from the Scots. Canada also doesn’t use the E. America and Ireland use the E. I remember reading once the E was added by Ireland and it’s supposed to mean Excellence
