Nice ... didn't know you also played the fiddle ... you have a lot of talent sir. Keep bringing the videos. You're an inspiration as I try to learn some basic stuff as a 67 yr old semi-beginner. I've put down the clawhammer for a while to concentrate on guitar, but will be picking it up again this winter. My problem is I want to play both, but can't seem to have the time to get good at either, even as a retiree ..... golf gets in the way during spring and summer ....LOL Thanks for always posting up the vids

Thank you my friend! I picked it up 2 1/2 years ago, 6 months after I got sober. I'm Metis, and it was a great way to connect with our culture. I've been playing folk tunes on guitar since I was 15, and got serious about playing oldtime, and bluegrass about 5 years ago. It's opened a whole world of new people, music, and opportunities. I'm getting requests to play cultural events like here in this video, and I'm super grateful. I know what you mean about the time though! I play all three everytime I perform so I have to practice lots, and uploading my practice has kept me consistent! Thanks again for the support!
