hahaha...I'm having fun learning to play the more complex versions of this old tune! Thank you for providing this (and other) lessons...One thing that I have learned, is after getting the bare bones of the melody down, that I DO NOT have to follow you note for note on this....as long as I just relax and get the feel for the song, the double stops, hammer ons, slides etc.. naturally follow :)

Another really excellent and enjoyable lesson. Thank you so much. I would love to see Waterbound covered in the same way (simple to Complex, plus a Jam track).

I know it's not your usual style but it would be awesome to hear some Zelda tunes or Harry Potter and maybe get some tips on how you would spice up the tunes! Love your lessons! Hope to be as good as you one day

I taught myself to play Song of Storms from Ocarina of Time on my mandolin, sounds pretty good on the mando.

I admire you Barron, so much dedication ! Playing for only 2 weeks, but progress has been fast , I have an Ibanez semi electric mandolin. Just one question, I'm knew to the flatpicking style of eight note fiddle tunes, to me it looks daunting. Any tips on how to memorize them ?
