Nice finger/voice/and footwork. Bless those that have that kind of fun at their pubs. In America it is often an ill-wind that blows after mid-night. It's hard to walk five to twenty miles home after you leave your favorite American bar. If you drive and you may have no other way home, "then drunk and behind the wheel" is a stupid way to treat your fellow night travelers. I personally only drink if my keys are hanging on the wall and the car is parked until morning. In many American small towns after midnight the police will often give you a free ride ("home") just to help keep drunks from driving, they know as we know it's too far to crawl. Small towns in America rock, larger towns not so much.
@noelowen84532 жыл бұрын
What you need in America is a saturation of pubs or bars all over big cities. I live in Dublin , Ireland, A big city by Irish standards and there is always a pub within walking distance.
@MrPHart2 жыл бұрын
@@noelowen8453 As of today the population of Dublin is (per Siri) 553,165 and our largest city in New Mexico is Albuquerque and its 564,559 very close in population and your city would have some kind of public transportation and in ours only our cars or taxi cabs and cabs are expensive. Plus Albuquerque is a large "typical" American city sprawling 20 - 30 miles north to south and almost that far east to west. So you leave your favorite bar at closing time (here it's 2:00 A.M. and start waking 5 - 10 - or 15 miles home...really? America is a large area of land and and a newer country than your Ireland so we are a car country and driving drink is very poor thinking. Noel, I live in New Mexico between Arizona and Texas in a small town called Espanola and sadly I would have to walk more than 5 miles one way to the nearest bar and then back. So I buy my liquor (beer) at any of several food or package liquor stores and spend my evening with a friend enjoying a cool one. I wish for a friendly neighborhood bar but not a part of our (my) American landscape. So enjoy your's and I'll also enjoy mine! Put my name in a cooled one and then drink it for me, thanks. (PH)
