As a huge Metallica fan (yes they exist: metalheads playing the violin and enjoying classical music) I've known and loved this song for ages. I never ever considered learning to play it. Time to change that.

An appealing tune to learn. Tempo is within my level and it looks like a good one to practice staccato or is it pizzicato ?

Thank you for teaching me "Banish Misfortune." I am trying to learn this one and I see you are using some Irish Ornamentation. Do you have a video on learning this kind of ornamentation?

Yes! Check out my "Fiddle Techniques" playlist - lots of videos on various techniques/ornamentation, including Irish and Scottish. I'd especially recommend the video on the 'flick' and 'turn'. Good luck to you! kzbin.info/aero/PLTxOy5jJdhWjqbIN_l-CUi99D63g4MyPK

Practice your scales, play along with a good recording of the scales to make sure you're in tune, don't move on to the next note until your intonation is good! But most of all, I'd recommend getting yourself a teacher!

Joshua Barger I couldn’t have said it better myself! Practicing scales & having an instructor to give you feedback are the best things you can do for yourself at this stage, Ayman. Good luck to you! 🎻

Intonia is the best app I've found for practicing intonation. Available on Google Store for phone, free, or more elaborate version for computer for $25 one time.
