Shopping my stash has also been on my agenda this year, and I think it would be an awesome switch for the Mystery box challenge too. I had tears in my eyes with the crown of thorns craft. I am a craft supply hoarder. 🙋🏼‍♀️ I have an empty craft room. I took out 16 large totes out so I can put new flooring in. I have the carpet and pad all pulled out. Next we started building the Murphy bed so it can still host guests. Then flooring and trim work. I’m ready to get back in there soon. It will be a bit, next big project is the master bedroom. We will sleep in the craft room/ guest room until the bedroom is finished. Ugh, one of these days. ❤

For the crown of thorns, what I usually do is make it a centerpiece of my table to remind us where in lent and to try to go without me and without dessert and every time one of my kids thinks they did a good deed they take a thorn out so that by Easter, hopefully it is a crown of glory instead of a crown of thorns

I’m definitely a craft hoarder. My kids seriously want to stage an intervention. They are constantly saying “Mom, you don’t need that.” , “Mom, what exactly do you think you’re going to do with that?”, “Mom always says she needs this or that but never uses it.” However, they also contribute to my addiction by bringing me things they think I can do something with. Seriously though, my hoard is beyond out of control. I have an attic, basement, 2 car garage and craft room filled to the brim with curb side finds, thrifted items, craft supplies, seasonal and regular decor items. I’m only one person with an array of physical and health issues. Getting organized seems farther and farther from my reach. I make things with every intention to sell them and make money I desperately need since I have been unable to work for years. The issue is it’s either not perfect enough or I love it too much to let it go. To say I have a problem is a HUGE understatement. I love this video. I love ALL of your videos and everything you create. I too got burnt out on DT for a while. They have some great finds sometimes since they have increased their prices other items I feel I can’t get much better bang for my buck elsewhere. I have shopped DT long before it became a HOT thing. It used to be my little secret long ago. Other things I hate spending the extra 25 cents for the exact same thing I used to get for a dollar. That sounds sad, I know. When you’re on a very strict budget it counts though. I have seen things in other stores that I can get at DT much cheaper too. I absolutely loved your faith based crafts. They were beautiful. I’m definitely adding them to my list of things to make. ❤
