​@@Cosmos_MarinerAgree! Seen those non chill vs chill filtered Turkey vids and thought the same. 😆 Initially i learned plenty from you tube but now rely on several different sources. Now I take ALL reviews with skepticism. "Craft" is code for very young whiskey and some the tasting notes are just plain made up. After getting burned sevetal times by the FOMO inciting clown reviewers I wised up and trust myself most. I use Elijah Craig, WT 101, BF Early Times or Coopers Craft, and Smoke Wagon as my bourbon standards and Pikesville for rye standard. These have destroyed tons of overpriced and overhyped bottles. Thanks for your response.

If the proof is above 95 or so then chill filtration is not necessary. When cut to 80 proof it would need to be chill filtered and none of them state "chill filtered" because most people don't know what it means. As stated the fatty acids are "dissolved" in the alcohol and when the alcohol % goes too low they come out of suspension and get cloudy.
