There's something just so pleasing about watching an older European gentleman enjoying the hell out of a high school/college drinking staple like Fireball. Besides that contextual note though, it's just a true pleasure watching a whisky reviews with no pretension or snobbery. Just pure wholesome enjoyment. 5 out of 5 stars!

Fireball goes best with a sweet cider in my experience. The apple/cinnamon combination is fun, it's quite a silly liqueur and I find embracing the silliness brings out the best in it. That's why it's a classic shot drink, just fun

Horst, just FYI "Red Hots" is a ubiquitous candy brand in the US and this liqueur tastes almost exactly like it. Due to this it's a favorite of college age people and young adults here.

I tried this stuff at Dramfest in Christchurch, New Zealand. I remember an appallingly strong kick of artificial cinnamon flavouring and not much else. It was quite a contrast to the many fine single malts and bourbons I tried that day...
