I try this whiskey with you. Excellent, the sense of sweetness, honey notes, very gentle and soft. It is a pity that in Russia it is not so accessible (at a price) as in Europe. Thanks for the review.

Hi Hamish. I'm going to try this as I just noticed it appear on the shelf here in my adopted town of Victoria BC. I went to school (Breadalbane Academy) In the late '40's. I Remember Saturday nights out at the Birks Cinema when we lived in Fearnan during the war. When I saw Wade's Bridge on the Scotch bottle label it was a no brainer. I had to have it. You know what they say, "Buy on emotion and justify with logic." Slangevar! And Merry Christmas.

$32 at Costco in a cool metal tin. I like it. Just an all around easy drinker and the price is right.

I just got a bottle and love the taste, I'm kinda pissed that mine doesn't have a squirrel on it though :) I guess in 2017 they changed the bottle, color scheme and artwork.

Myself There is talk that once the Bacardi people took over this distillery went completely to the dogs. The bottle I bought in early 2018 was a major disappointment. The nose was horrible and smelled like Peptobismol to me, and I had a heavy oily rubber taste develop on my tongue that and it lasted for 15 minutes after tasting that was intolerable. I think this whisky has changed a lot since the distillery was sold and I’ll never buy it again.

Ed Finnegan I’m in the same boat with you! I wish I could turn in my bottle for some Ardbeg or even Johnny Walker Red if nothing else.......I might just take it to a party at the in-laws and leave it there “by accident”

New bottle - 2018 - SUCK. The world of real foods and drinks are changing by all the marketing shit short cut, and Unreal quality, just like fast fat lazy foods and drinks. What matters is the REAL quality, and not the rip off marketing/enginerred designs that we have to pay for the ridiculous cost. So everyone be beware.
