The comment on the 16 years old did resonated with me ! I'm getting a bottle tomorrow . There are about 10 bottles left in Montreal.

Problem is it used to be $105 at the SAQ now it's $260. It's more than doubled. I don't think it's going to double from $260 to $520.

What has happened to the once great Longmorn distillery!?!?!?! I have expressions from the sixties and seventies that are spectacular. Last ten years it has gone down the tubes.

I have had some bottles of the Longmorn distillery, including the 16 yr 48% I believe. For 54,- eu They were good whisky's, but no way I'm going to pay over a 100 for a 15 or 16 yrs . We are getting screwed here.... Big time. But then again, we make our own choices in what we buy

Both are great, but the Longmorn Distiller's Choice offers more complexity

the age of the youngest spirit in this whisky is apparently 10 years old so I would say it's well worth the money.
