Dada, Soda does not contains phosphoric acid. It only has Carbonic Acid due to infusion of CO2 . Other soft drinks like cola, lemon etc has phosphoric acid. I have worked in Manufacturing and Quality for 12 years in soft drink industry

I am a physician,specialist in Gastroenterology In USA for the past 40 years and your comments about adding soda in whiskey is absolutely wrong because it doesn’t interfere with absorption of calcium.It is true that in Western countries nothing is added to whiskey to maintain its taste.However if anyone enjoys it with soda then he should continue with it.Also by adding soda to whiskey it doesn’t make you drunk fast.Please don’t give wrong advice and information to public.However you are a through gentleman

Around the world for every spirit drink there is a dedicated fan base. Wine also have a fan base. In India there is also a classy fan base for wine, but in general most Indians do drink to get high; that’s why they prefer 42-43% spirit drink over 12-15% wine drink. With IMFL they pour water/ soda to the full of glass to make the drink tasty & lighter. Apart from this in India there are also enthusiastic,knowledgeable & choosy, classy people who knows how to give proper respect to different catagory of drinks. 😊 You said right, it’s true that carbonated water gives more kick & hangover also. 👍😊

Darjiling tea is pathetic example. 🤣. Tea was never was part of indian culture. It was introduced by Britishers. India had milk drinking culture that is why milk tea is famous. For darjiling tea it was for export only by Britishers also It is dam expensive that is why you don't find it in normal home. But it is commonly accepted as best tea by everyone. May be you are limited by something. "We can't appreciate the craftsmanship we don't deserve the luxury" 🤣🤣🤣 those who can afford rarely cares. Similarly for others good also.

Nah Nah, Dada you got it wrong about why we Indians purchase Hard liquor like Whiskey, Vodka and Rum more than Wine. It's not about the taste but the kick to price ratio. A sada banda can gulp down a bottle of wine and still would not have any intoxication whatsoever. Even a bottle of beer will outperform the whole bottle of wine any day because of extremely low alcohol content in the wines. Just imagine if Rs 250 worth of a beer can make you feel higher than a 1000 bucks worth of the most ordinary wine, who is stupid enough to take up the wine journey? Now, just contrast the level of kick and the sharing of the bottle of whiskey or vodka between a couple of friends and you know that drinking now achieves also a social get together in a very economical way. It is a no brainer that wines will never be able to come near such a multibagger combination. In fact, wines are not even close to the beer consumption.

You are right. Also whiskey having higher concentrations of alcohol dissolves cellulose faster in your body, increasing your digestion. But the mineral , acid ,vitamins content of whiskey is lower due to modern method of distillation and quick dispatch, if it's aged in Oak it will have better mineral vitamin content as it will dissolve the medicinal properties of oak wood. Hence wine has its own benefits just like beer.

Dada' got little confused 😕. In London, peopl don't laugh whn U take soda or water in yr whisky. In fact, they pour fm a spray nozzle all three (soda, water, cola)....as per yr choice. During my visits to Covent Garden, London, I witnessed it. In other hotels too....it's the same.
