By far and away one of my favorite single malts, and one of the first I ever tried nearly thirty years ago. The richness of the peat/smoky flavor and complexity are simply breathtaking.

Best scotch ever to exist, I've never had a scotch so full of flavor and amazing taste, its truly an experience trying this legend of a drink, makes an amazing rusty nail.

Lagavulin has been my all-time favorite scotch for decades. The intense peaty smell and taste are definitely to my liking. I would like to suggest regarding this video: hop over to Laphroaig factory tour video and see why it completely blows away this video. Oh well, it's all in good fun.

I bought a Lagavulin 16 and kept it on the shelf for a while before trying it because it was a little pricey. I kick myself for that decision.

The outside areas where the connections are made were changed from red to black, which of course wouldn't change the flavour as the alcohol vapor never comes in contact with it. The inside of stills are never painted lol
