Unlike some other countries on the same latitude, Scotland has a narrow annual temperature range. In our warmest months, our average temperature sits around 18°C (around 64°F), and in our coldest months, it's around 0°C (around 32°F).

After so many years I've finally opened myself up to peated whisky and I just picked up a bottle of this Ardbeg. I've come to thoroughly enjoy the Ardbeg 10 year and the Laphroaig 10 year so I'm excited to add this one to my collection and give it a try!

I opened a bottle of the An Oa two days ago. As I like the Laprhoaig Select as a "daily" dram, I thought that the profile of the An Oa would come close. It is a little better than the Select, but will not replace it. The price difference is to big. But nontheless. A lovely dram.

As someone who lives on Skye - I can assure you it definitely would be on average 8° if that!

I just opened up a bottle of Uigeadail and have Corryvreckan waiting beside it. Not sure if I need to jump on an An Oa as well but we'll see. What's the consensus?

No chance. Ardbeg 10 is in different League. An Oa is just Ugie for poor people 🤷♂️😁🥂🙋♂️

Yes, we tasted the bottle in 2017, but we thought it might be time for a revisit.

It’s actually pronounced ‘’A No’’ rather than how it’s written ‘’An Oa’’ ☝️ never tasted it but surely will one day
