I just bought my wife one, we shall see. She likes to get out of the house and do some yard work but by my Stihl backpack blower is just to heavy for her - so, I bought her one of her own. Now before someone trashes me because my wife does yard work, I work twelve hour nightshifts so having a partner of forty years that's not afraid to get her hands dirty is a blessing.

Bought the Ryobi blower to clean out my semi truck trailer. It was bulky and honestly not very powerful. Took it back and bought the EGO 530. Hands down no comparison. What took 5 minutes with the Ryobi 550 took 60 seconds with the EGO. Could not be happier. Thanks for all of the reviews, they were very helpful.

This 40V Whisper Blower is amazing!!! At least with the battery I got with it! Just got it for a sweet deal ($100) with one 40v 6aH (not 4ah) battery and it lasted FOREVER cleaning out one of our 40’ storage units with a lot of stuff and tons of dust and some dirt in it!!! We live in the Arizona desert where the wind goes like crazy!!! We did like 5 full on all over passes definitely taking our time and the unit and battery were still going strong at one bar left… arms were too tired by then to keep going!!! But the storage unit was clean as best it could be with a blower! The unit has never been cleaned like that in the 20 years since it was installed! Blower is definitely on the quiet side but still need ear protection in the back end of a storage unit, not only from sound but from the dust and dirt flying around!

I just bought the exact same Ryobi blower . One thing I don’t like is the ergonomics / lack of comfort . It should hang , in a balanced position from your arm . It doesn’t :( You have to maneuver your wrist in a cocked position to operate it , which will certainly lead to fatigue rather quickly . Maybe I’ll go check out the Ego instead . I wonder if it feels more natural ?

Love the reviews definitely food for thought. Speaking personally Im happy to see it does the job it’s designed for because my main reason for Ryobi exclusive racks in my shop is the one battery for all. Is there’s one thing I hate it’s have 20 different chargers and hoping I remembered to plug the specific one in that I’m needing.

So I have this and a few others but it really don’t blow that hard. So what I did is flatten the tip of it and took the back housing off and ordered two attwood 3000 bulge fans that are just over 200 mph a per fan. Then I stuffed them in and put it back together now it blows just over 450 mph out doing the way that ryobi came by mile. Now I can stand at my garage door and just barely blow the leaves in my Neighbor across the street driveway which is over 50 feet from me. When I just it in my yard all the leaves are blown away in seconds I can do my front yard in a bout 3 minutes. I contacted ryobi about this to see if they would use my idea but they refused

Thank you for the great videos you produce! In your experience, which blower would you say represents the best given these parameters: lightest weight; smallest size; lowest noise; and strongest power given the first 3 parameters? I need to get a blower to take in our RV, so storage space is at a premium. Also, I don’t want to piss off neighboring campers if I have to blow leaves / debris off the roof or slides. That said, it’s not like I’ll be doing extensive yard work with the blower - it will only be used around camp. Thanks for your thoughts!

@@Kitearmy I bought it from lowes Yahoo. It has 45 min of run time, dual cutting blades. Its manual push which is fine. I watched so many reviews and everyone seemed to love the ego mowers. I loved your ego vs ryobi. You were having some good ol rest and relaxation waiting for the ryobi battery to charge. Almost 4 hours, RIP OFF. If you buy the ego leafblower, does that battery work with lawnmower. I'll buy the leaf blower next season. I have a ryobi gas leaf blower. Shes been good to me. I'm gref by the way. Keep making great videos, there so fun and full of information

@moneytrain731
@moneytrain731 4 жыл бұрын
@@Kitearmy yup the select cut. I love the height adjustment and all the different variations in cutting grass. I have the worx battery trimmer and that works well. However if I see lowes selling the trimmer and blower on sale in a package deal, maybe I'll get that. Very impressed with the ego demonstrations. Did you ever try the ego mower with the steel deck. I was considering that but thought that weight would kill the battery. I'm happy with the one I bought. I think the prices are maybe $100.00 to much. I have a craftsman gas mower I'll keep as backup next season.
@Kitearmy
@Kitearmy 4 жыл бұрын
@@moneytrain731 So if you REALLY CARE about the cut quality of your lawn this is where the Select cut shines - yes it is expensive but it is the only KITEARMY recommended EGO mower. For the string trimmer try to get the auto load carbon fiber trimmer and for the blower either the 580cfm or 650cm in my opinion they are about the same power

Thanks for the review of a new blower. Well done as always. Would you have the db numbers from the EGO 650CFM unit as well? Noise is not a major issues for me since I use waterproof noise cancelation stereo earbuds (Jabra Elit Sport) that can allow the outside noise in or out while I stream music when doing yard work; however, performance is a major issue so this feature is not important to me... more like a Ryobi marketing gimmick (and I have worked in advertising before!).

I like how you used the EGO as the benchmark to test with being the king of blowers for a while now, but why did you not use it to compare sound of of both? I think Americans need to buy more rakes and brooms because that twisting action gets rid of pot bellies. You women also need to get out there and do some yard work also. STOP disturbing the neighbors with all the loud noxious leaf blowers.

@@Kitearmy Can't quite see your daily insulin injections in the future though. This is the Pleasure Now generation. To hell with inflation. Keep voting the Democrat Money Printers into office.... The crash is coming soon now..... which is why we cannot spend any money on Ukraine. If the Dems allocate any budget, it will be to create a stronger virus to take out more useless nonworking elderly resource eaters.

You could've left the distracting and obviously ridiculous music off....since the video was about the silence of the blower ..the music is overpowering the video sound.....pointless really....cause the only reason it seemed quieter was because of how loud the ridiculous music was!👎👎👎👎
