I just bought my wife one, we shall see. She likes to get out of the house and do some yard work but by my Stihl backpack blower is just to heavy for her - so, I bought her one of her own. Now before someone trashes me because my wife does yard work, I work twelve hour nightshifts so having a partner of forty years that's not afraid to get her hands dirty is a blessing.

Bought the Ryobi blower to clean out my semi truck trailer. It was bulky and honestly not very powerful. Took it back and bought the EGO 530. Hands down no comparison. What took 5 minutes with the Ryobi 550 took 60 seconds with the EGO. Could not be happier. Thanks for all of the reviews, they were very helpful.

This 40V Whisper Blower is amazing!!! At least with the battery I got with it! Just got it for a sweet deal ($100) with one 40v 6aH (not 4ah) battery and it lasted FOREVER cleaning out one of our 40’ storage units with a lot of stuff and tons of dust and some dirt in it!!! We live in the Arizona desert where the wind goes like crazy!!! We did like 5 full on all over passes definitely taking our time and the unit and battery were still going strong at one bar left… arms were too tired by then to keep going!!! But the storage unit was clean as best it could be with a blower! The unit has never been cleaned like that in the 20 years since it was installed! Blower is definitely on the quiet side but still need ear protection in the back end of a storage unit, not only from sound but from the dust and dirt flying around!

I just bought the exact same Ryobi blower . One thing I don’t like is the ergonomics / lack of comfort . It should hang , in a balanced position from your arm . It doesn’t :( You have to maneuver your wrist in a cocked position to operate it , which will certainly lead to fatigue rather quickly . Maybe I’ll go check out the Ego instead . I wonder if it feels more natural ?

So I have this and a few others but it really don’t blow that hard. So what I did is flatten the tip of it and took the back housing off and ordered two attwood 3000 bulge fans that are just over 200 mph a per fan. Then I stuffed them in and put it back together now it blows just over 450 mph out doing the way that ryobi came by mile. Now I can stand at my garage door and just barely blow the leaves in my Neighbor across the street driveway which is over 50 feet from me. When I just it in my yard all the leaves are blown away in seconds I can do my front yard in a bout 3 minutes. I contacted ryobi about this to see if they would use my idea but they refused

Thank you for the great videos you produce! In your experience, which blower would you say represents the best given these parameters: lightest weight; smallest size; lowest noise; and strongest power given the first 3 parameters? I need to get a blower to take in our RV, so storage space is at a premium. Also, I don’t want to piss off neighboring campers if I have to blow leaves / debris off the roof or slides. That said, it’s not like I’ll be doing extensive yard work with the blower - it will only be used around camp. Thanks for your thoughts!

Kite Army Thanks for the quick reply! I cannot find the review for the “18v Ryobi blower sweeper” on your site. Do you mean the “Wet Grass Test - Ryobi 18v One+ Cordless Jet Fan Leaf Blower - Review & Demo”?
Lightest and smallest for high power is probably the Worx 40V (they have a 20v version too) Leaf Jet. 6.5 lbs with battery. 620 CFM claimed. It is positively svelte in size and weight. Love to see it tested in this channel. What a fun and helpful channel!

@@Kitearmy yup the select cut. I love the height adjustment and all the different variations in cutting grass. I have the worx battery trimmer and that works well. However if I see lowes selling the trimmer and blower on sale in a package deal, maybe I'll get that. Very impressed with the ego demonstrations. Did you ever try the ego mower with the steel deck.
