‘Whisper wishes’- Lavinia stamps-mixed media

This was such a surprise! I would've never thought to use the Lavinia stamps in a still life like this. I'm so accustomed to seeing them used in the fantasy fairy world paintings (which I love) because they are so stylized (?). Very pretty and different!🥙❤ Thank you!

Oh my word Lisa, this is stunning! Watching you make this come to ‘life’ is amazing, not sure I would tackle something so challenging, then when you started using the gouache for the blossoms it all fell into place. Very beautiful! I thought maybe I would try this until I saw how not simple doing the vase actually is. I’m not sure I could re-create that.

Just break it down to green in the centre, dark at top left and bottom right and two light spots. The base is easy enough on its own. I work in zones and then adjust the dark and light at the end! Hope that makes sense. 🙏❤️
