thx man this is really helpful, especially the part where you go "boom boom switcht move hit" out loud. When I started doing that in my head it made so big of a difference. Definitely the enrage phase is the hardest, completely true. I've completed the quest and really want to grind out this boss, but my issue is that last phase. I have zero issues getting to it, but have a lot of issues dealing with it. Majority of the time, I go insane due to worrying too much about my prayer and health and end up dying as a result.

I was like that too haha. But after a lot of training I managed to kill this boss 19 times already. And even so, sometimes I die in the last phase, but less and less. The secret is before the last phase you start filling your prayer points to the maximum, your hp and take a stamina potion. After that start giving the first attack on the boss without moving, and then click as far as possible from him and wait for him to switch from attack to mage, after that attack again, and so on. One thing that can help is in the last phase just use the protection prayers to consume less prayer points.

Good vid. This is like one boss that doesn't care for budget setups. You get 40 or so seconds to clear the enrage phase and you need every single max hit and accuracy you can get, because your HP doesn't exist in this fight. Which is kind of a shame, because i think it's a really great training tool for PvM, because of a constant 2tick cycle on attacks, which makes it great for practicing your accurate clicks and timings.

@@MacGuffin1234 in the enrage phase you quickly lose sanity which will almost certainly lead to you dying if you don't have enough dps

How did you get your prayers re arranged like this?

In Runelite Right-click on the Prayer tab, and select “Enable Prayer reordering”

the orb phase always gets me, i get hit when walking over the green orbs but you walk over them perfectly fine ?

You have to run on top of the Light Green Orbs, and avoid the Dark green orbs

Your video is excellent man! I won’t lie, I absolutely hate the final phase. I think it’s kinda BS that it’s a hardcore DPS check against the insanity. If you don’t kill her in time, it’s an automatic wipe. I’ve died to insanity at the end so many times

Yeah it’s definitely a learning curve. Even with the Shadow it took me a while to get used to, and even longer to start becoming efficient at it.

Did they hot fix the auto cast ? When I was doing it during the quest my auto cast went off and I ran at the boss lol

Were you brewed down? That’s normally what happens when you’re brewed down below the required magic lvl to cast the spell

Have 90 mage with a forgotten brew and I think you’ll be fine.

What does hitting other ghosts do?

Each color gives a certain benefit: - Vita! (2 yellow spirits): Restores HP to the player. - Oratio! (3 dark blue spirits): Restores Prayer to the player. - Sanitas! (3 light blue spirits): Restores Sanity to the player. - Mors! (4 green spirits): Deals 50 damage to the Whisperer. If all four sets of souls are killed, then the effects are increased by 50%.

84 mage using ice blitz here... i highly doubt you'll get quest kc with ibans.
