Pillow Princess I do have synesthesia but I do not experience ASMR. I have chromesthesia and a few other types such as associating numbers and months with colors. I do find ASMR relaxing and use it to go to sleep but have never tingled.

this may sound weird coming from me, but I love when you feature Nam in things because he reminds me of my father with his story (how he changed countries and made a family there.) My father left Vietnam when he was 7 because of the war and came to the U.S., where he eventually met my mother in a college art class. A few years later, they had my sister and me, two half-white/half-Vietnamese babies lol but his accent never seemed to have changed, so I was impressed how strong of an accent Nam has. I'm happy that you two share such a strong love for one another and that he's willing to try new things like asmr to make you happy (: I pray you guys have a very happy, successful life together and that we'll get to see more videos from the both of you 😊

Congratulations on 500K! I suffer from a type of mysophonic synesthesia. When I have auditory overload, I can taste sounds. It's really unsettling. Some people's voices truly give me such a foul taste in my mouth that I have to fight the urge to be sick. There are other sounds but even just thinking about it is turning my stomach a bit so I'm going to think about purring cats too counter the thoughts.

Tinglesaurus Rex I didn't know there was a specific name for this kind of sensation! For me I can smell writing i.e. when someone writes about macabre stuff I can smell the blood and start gagging; when someone like Rowling writes about the feasts, I can smell the food. Haha at least now I know I'm not being weird.

I'm not sure that would qualify as synesthesia per se. I am not well versed enough in psychology/psychiatry to diagnose it but I would be more inclined to say it would have something more to do with your ability to manifest the things that your perceive in your mind as being real. It seems more like you are getting really deeply into the things that you are reading. It is still very fascinating and I would love to look more into it but it's well above my pay grade. Just rest assured that you are not being weird, you are just gifted with a very strong ability to place yourself within the things you are reading, maybe watching or hearing. I think it's pretty cool.
