Whistler's 9 Hour Hike - Skywalk Trail Up Rainbow Mountain

"Skywalk" is a relatively new hike on the north side of Whistler. Starting off the Flank Trail it's a loop from the temperate rain forests through the alpine meadows to under Rainbow glacier and back down.
It's a 19.5km hike taking around 9 hours

In september 2004 me and my best pal, we are both from northern Germany, took the skywalk trail. it was incredible.. Beautiful and were up there all alone. I will never forget the impression of chilling cold nights at the start of september. Today, 15 years later, I do not know if I could make this long walk anymore. but I would try.. I so would. Love you B. C. I will be back some day.

Thank you, I've been thinking about venturing to the meadows at the start, with my board. I avoided this hike this year, didn't want to put myself through that again, but was really happy to do it the first time
