Seriously!!! Another epic ski day!!! I am a 69 year old guy from Ontario who can’t thank you enough for filming and sharing an epic 2023/2024 season. Even old guys live the dream to ski pow and sick lines even though their skis turn left to the groomers because their knees hurt and their heart says ski safe so you can ski into your 80’s!! You are the best!!!

Thanks for my Delivery, it’s HOT!! Also thanks for sticker. Love the videos not been to Canada for a few years now but visited many of the resorts, WBC, Banff, Rstoke, KH, it all brings back amazing memories and hope to visit again soon. My best memories was probably one of the harmony horseshoe maybe No5 or 7, it had a kind of ledge about 10 feet down, but was basically a sort of cliff entrance. Also Lake Louise exhibition lift line was a favorite, cheers.

I always ski with a backpack that carries skis. Mounting them is simple and quick. It makes bootpacking so much easier and more comfortable. And it frees up both hands. I use it for any walk of meaningful distance.
@PatG-xd8qn8 ай бұрын
What's the brand of your backpack? The one I have since years sucks and I'm looking for a new one 😅
@riseandalpine8 ай бұрын
The backpack I wear allows me to a frame but I only usually do so in the backcountry. Usually bootpacks are so short I find I'd rather just pop it on the shoulder. But I'm always ready to a-frame if needed
@hypothalapotamus52938 ай бұрын
I was hiking in Colorado in October when I saw a guy trail running with skis A-framed to his pack and boots attached to the skis. Must have been 4 miles and a thousand feet of vertical from the parking lot to the glacier. That's the type of person that could cycle that run.

Peak to Creek is an amazing run I'm surprised they don't groom it or have a few snow machines at the bottom. I skied it 5 weeks ago and didn't expect it to be moguls from top to bottom because it hadn't been groomed and I also had to dodge tops of bushes poking out of the snow. It looks like that part is completely melted out now.
