actually the engine tearing out of the frame is one of the most likely scenarios, the force is distributed evenly along the wings and they aren't that heavy.

I agree with @bromandude1. Any REAL pilot can see, at the moment he starts to "taxi", the two ailerons are SIMULTANEOUSLY in the down position. If he had enough time to accelerate and brake with the ground, there was no "aileron control" on that thing. The accident saved his ass.

To fly,put the brakes on the turn the throttle to 100% then let the speed go at least 196 mph then pull up on your thing up and the put all the flaps on then retract landing gear then go 6,500 feet in the air and keep the flight smooth and bam

Forget the stress test, these planes don’t ever get or need one. Just make sure the bent parts are replaced, and the engine, and the wings, struts, landing gear... just get a new plane.

This is the guy that you read about in the paper. Self learning is a virtue but doesn't prepare you for things you can't for see. Even expierenced pilots know when to get training. I take that back, you should never be let anywhere near an airplane.

N43635 was crashed May 16, 2012 in Marion AR. The Instructor Pilot and Student sustained minor injuries. Cause was engine failure. Somebody rebuilt it and I assume it was recertified by an FAA licensed inspector. Or...it was never meant to fly and sold for YT content to be destroyed. edit: Aircraft was recertified Oct 2016. Sad end to a 1946 classic.
