Now, that's serious music! Ed Calle, fabulous! He was one of my son Rocky Yera's first sax teachers while in High School. Now a professional jazz sax player well-known in the Chicago area, my son Rocky, still considers Ed one of his biggest inspirations! Thanks, Ed!

@kenjohnson3522 Жыл бұрын
They're playing The Chicken in the style of Jaco Pastirious, and that was the sound Jaco used. Peter Graves is leading the group. He's the director of the Jaco Pastorious Big Band. Jeff Carswell is capably laying down the bass....playing the chart....not showing off. Every player from Miami to Boca LOVES The Chicken and feels obliged to play it....
@spoddie Жыл бұрын
@@kenjohnson3522 Do you think anything you wrote would make me suddenly like it? I doubt Jaco would be seen dead playing a six string bass.

@@johnsweenie It’s racist if someone is targeting him for his race. Not quite the case with what Ed stated. Claiming someone is not of a certain birth is basing it on where they were born and what nationality they are, not race or ethnicity. Quite the stretch to accuse someone of being racist.
