Haven't been to Whitby for such a long time: probably over 10 years since we stayed for a day or two. I love the place and will need to go back. Thanks for the fly over. This is a beautiful place, with that walled, protected harbor. Was this a shipbuilding port, or protected for other reasons? It's fantastic, looking very much the same as one would expect it did hundreds of years or more, passed. The Seagulls thought you were delivering lunch!

@@ladyintheskyuk I have to admit I am envious of the subject places you have to shoot. It is beautiful country in North Carolina where I live, but there's limited variety. The Atlantic coastline is nearly 3 hours east, the Blueridge Mountains 3 hours West. By me, it's some lakes formed by damns and trees. Many, many trees. I would live to live out West, with the sprawling vistas, or back in New York (my home for 45 years. We often fail to appreciate our own landscapes out of familiarity, but your subscribers get a treat every time you venture out to show us the beautiful country you have all around you. I've taken many months off to recharge, but your videos remind me why I fell in love with these amazing perspectives we never had with handheld cameras. As soon as the oppressive summer heat subsides, I am getting back out there! Apologies for novelette length comment!
