I bleed jd green but I have to admit that's a nice fleet of classic horse power that was built with pride and quality. I always appreciate a farmer who takes pride in classic equipment no matter the brand. Keep the classics rolling. They will be here long after the new stuff is rolling out of the factory doors today.

Awesome to see olivers an whites still be used on the farm. Dad Had a 1355 oliver tractor on the farm back in the 80's which is the firsr tractor I learned to drive at the age of 8 yrs old.

Very cool. The Fiat built 1300 series are harder to find. They are neat tractors. What jobs did your family’s 1355 get used for?
@clinthochrein8882 жыл бұрын
@@bigtractorpower it was used for pulling wagons of all types, pulled a manure spreader even in winter (had a Cabet on) rake hay, until 1990. When it caught fire in our machine shed in Jan. The shed an all other equipment was saved the the 1355 burnt up.

The 195 was a update from the 155 series 3 Great looking tractor and very strong nice To see what looks like a Oliver 1365 row crop tractor powered by Fiat and a 1800 Oliver narrow front and a white 160 on the blower great vid again Jason keep bringing them !!!!!!
@brettcolburn88712 жыл бұрын
Don't know your Whites and Oliver's too well...the 195 was an update of the 185 from the previous 100 series tractors. The White tractor running the blower was either a 125 or likely a 145 not a 160. The 160 was again part of the previous 100 series withe the aforementioned 185. Different decals and cab color/roof than the 100 series Workhorse's seen in this video. Also that was not an 1800 Oliver. Looked to be a 1750 or 1850.
@bigtractorpower2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching. The Oliver raking is 1365, the wagon tractor is a 1650 and the silo tractor is a 170.
@brettcolburn88712 жыл бұрын
@@bigtractorpower that silo tractoe is not a 170. I can tell by the hood. It's one of the smaller frame Workhorse models...i.e. the 125 or 145

We had a few dairy farms around when I was a kid. I miss the sound of a chopper cutting corn in the fall. It been 20 years since I ran a chopper. We had a 3970 John Deere with a hay head and three row corn head. Power came from a 4450 and later an 8100 John Deere. Chopper wagons give way to a Richardton dump wagon and trucks. The next change was hiring out to a custom harvester. We just drove trucks and packed the bunker.
